Actually, the rapier is quite good if you are a warrior. The only bad thing is that it doesn't last too long. But why bother questing it when you can have a globe for example:)
Otherwise, Trempk, reason '4' for me to get it with warrior chars:P

I don't see what the problem is with the weapons used. Incognito had the option to use a better weapon. Ecidon can't be faulted for choosing well.
And naked in real life.
A real duel happens to be when you're naked except a wooden sword, while mounted on a flying beast/eagle, fighting over a river at highest altitude.
If you can't take the heat, don't screw with Ecidon, or anyone with the motivation (and severe boredom) to decimate your guild/legion's infrastructure on a whim. Sucks it played out this way (I rather like Incognito), but 'dems tha breaks. Either Ranhoth bounces or they go the way of the guilds of yore.

If you're getting a slender rapier, theres only 4 possible reasons its happening:
1. Its close to a reboot and there's nothing else.
2. You're a newb.
3. You're being paid by a newb to get him one.
4. You remember getting them as a newb and feel like reminiscing.
Incognito was a founding member of ranhoth, if he's kicked out...that would just suck.
This is all just proof that you can't be a successful guild unless you fully embrace the pk side of the mud, if you don't do that you're just going to be a joke like ranhoth. Hell, its just sad that one guy with 1 good pkiller in his pocket can destroy your guild.
If they're that weak, then they should kick incognito out or force him to not steal from players, hell they shouldn't even accept thieves or assassins.
Guilds like DH can handle that because they pretty much dont leave their guild unless they're going out to fuck with people. Its hard to fight that, especially when you're weak, so why would your members ask for it?
BKD and some other guilds can handle that too, but they have some newbie targets in their guild that go out to get slender rapiers and shit, so they can be fought in a way, even though you have to be lame to do it.

Classy duel, though I think the situation bringing it about was pretty lame, personally. All this over, essentially, an insult.
Glad Incognito was man enough to deal with Ecidon personally, though... it's just what you have to do when someone goes for your friends that had nothing to do with the issue in the first place.
