What does it mean to be 'best' in #20? There's so much that goes into it, and its one of the few lacking an adjective like 'killer' or 'quester'. Seems late, now, but I have a feeling people will vote on things like 'Most helpful', 'Most tolerant', 'Best Leader', 'Best Coder', 'Most fun', 'Most Masochistic', and 'Toughest Skin'. Ah well. would have been interesting to see that one fleshed out beyond 'best'. Dalamar is the best drinker, I shall vote for him.
The person who posted this log isn't disturbed, but some people are, and #28 seems thoughtless. Consider that from a guy who HAS gotten death threats over this game, and has seen Swedes do unspeakable things to a guy who they found out lives near them.
'Worst' for 57 seems equally as vague as the whole 'best' paragraph above. Again, bummer. I almost can't wait for this to be over, and next year to get here, to see this fleshed out. And not just this question.

Some of you might not know this, but something like this used to happen annually on the t2t right before 1998. Each year ainu would nominate 5 players for each profession and we would all choose the best player of the year in each category. It was a neat idea, i would like to see that happen again.

I won't you can't say who's 'the best'. There are like 20 'best players' in this game and each has a different style, not that they are the best.
If you don't think it should be done, then don't vote.

I think this is sort of a neat idea, though I'm a bit hesitant about the 'ugliest/hottest typist' bits... getting personal like that's something some people do here on the flame pages, but sometimes it's not a good idea to cross personal boundaries like that. *shrug.*

What will probably happen is, a bunch of newbie or unoriginal current heroes/villains will get chosen as the best/worst of all time, and older players will whine about how wrong everyone is, and about how Fjant this and Fjant that.
I don't see why this is such a bad idea, although I'm not going to participate I'm still interested in the results :P

I vote myself worst of all time for RP'er. I vote rekthorne worse log of all time though.
