I've got so much fucking honor, it's coming out of my ears.

As for honor among thieves: The rule (and I have been observing it faithfully for six years) has always been to never steal from a thief unless you know for sure that he himself does not observe the code (i.e. You know of a specific incident when he stole from another thief in violation of the code). In this day and age, there are fewer and fewer thieves who keep their hands clean. It is my experience that those who serve just to become thieves and hit up FRs for gold steal indiscriminately from FRs; stealing from servant thieves, therefore, is really a grey area. With the downfall of Alexa, the drop in activity on the MUD, and the general pervasive 'whatever' attitude around nowadays, the reputation of the thief profession in general has been muddied by imitators, fakers, nuisances, and gold hogs. The question of whether the code of honor among thieves should still be upheld is kind of up in the air when there is no substantial thief subculture, as it seems to me there used to be. I'll still follow it, and probably still occasionally contract or kill people I see breaking it. But, overall... whatever :P

That does'nt exist anymore, theres honour within TG and within 'same side' theives (although thats mostly because FR's are scared of fines and Servants are scared of being proclaimed a 'riot'), I never stole from thieves but now I have idiots like Ecidon, Bruce etc triggered to steal all from certain thieves from the other side so *shrug* Yet another part of the MUD lost to ERs.
