I enjoy these tidbits! They are something different on this page, are mostly better and more unique as other logs you get to read and they reflect - maybe in a not very representative way - the comm/tell/say/social/etc.-part of the game.

If they might be less funnier...well, Fimbu (or the others) only can take what they get.

Look. You want better tidbits, it's simple. Open a new txt file. Name it tidbits. Everytime you see something funny on the mud, copy/paste it and save it. Then mail it to tolkieneer@yahoo.com when you think you've got enough!

Fine is a guy, dude.
Porphyria: I doubt that someone like Fine comes close to comparing with someone like W. Bush, or Kim Jong, or a similar mover/shaker, in the category of 'Worst Person in the World'. I understand sarcasm, of course, but even so, and based on my limited interactions with her, I don't think she'd even be nominated for 'Worst Person on the MUD'. She's always been nice and helpful to me. That's just my opinion of her based on her friendly demeanor when dealing with me in the past. Perhaps there was something that Fine said that set this person off and made him/her say the 'suck my cock' bit, but that's still no excuse, and it's still a lame-fuck thing to say. I'd like to know the context of what was said before that tidbit.
Concerning the Tidbits in general, I tend to agree with Myrddin here, although I rated it a 5 because there were five things in this log that made me laugh/chuckle (Grimscar's comment to Price is an example of a tasteful 'suck my cock' joke). When I read tidbits, I can't help but to see the same kind of popularity circles and mentality of high school kids. What's so funny about all those insider chats? And, believe it or not, FRA/SoTPoT does not hold a monopoly on humor. The funniest things I read in this log had little/nothing to do with FRA, SoTPoT, or your private-chat-what-ever-you-call-them, although the Arawn and Porphyria package bits were damn funny.
Anyways, what I'm trying to say is that you can put a big, steaming pile of shit on a gold tray with fine silverware, expensive wine and served by a popular waiter, but it's still a big, steaming pile of shit.
(Aside: Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobic <---- is that actually a phobia of some kind? If so, wtf is it?)
I fail to see see what's so hilarious about the fact I was sleepy and managed to spell 'surprise' wrongly. But each to their own, I suppose.
And I agree that the tidbits have become very elitish and inside-only lately. Even though I'm part of the 'group' featured, I can still how they'd be unfunny to the general public, and to people who don't know the participants well. I think they'd benefit greatly from an increased variety of submissions.

Also, Fine is the worst person in the world.
Eg. the part with Fine and whoever was sending the tells was in extremely bad taste, not even funny, and sounded like a 12 year old kid who had run out of clever things to say.
I usually enjoy tidbits but I rated this 1 for a couple of reasons:
1. It shouldn't be in the all time top 20
2. This month really wasn't that funny
I personally feel the quality of tidbits is going down; it's becoming much more of an 'injoke' thing which is funny to the 10 or so people who make up the little tidbit gang, with less of the general comedy. I guess I should submit the funnier things I see but hey, I don't even know who I'm supposed to send this shit to.
