    A none-tier level 15, don't forget that!

Well if you're stabbing a level 15 with tusk at DLSG I can see maybe triggering to loot when one is a second tier own-i-nator, but he failed the stab... That's SOME confidence :D

Trigger huntbreaks? Pah. A tier two assassin knows he'll be successful no matter the odds. Triggering the loot is just prudent planning.

I like how you trigger to loot, instead of for a huntbreak... shrug* Speaks for itself.

You didn't, but I was making the fact clear... that most power players don't care about newer players.

Hart, when did I say something about half of today's PowerPlayers?

    *confused*

Charr, since when did half of today's power players give a shit about anyone else?

Jabba I'm not going to have a harsh response. But really, I've heard the same argument several times. It never has much of a punch, several guilds have flaws in their themes, this was the best way we could make a guild to gear up the lower-budget players of Arda.

Several guilds have sketchy themes, but you just choose to state that ours is the worst simply because you do not like us. The pirates guild has less of a purpose than ours.

I know we don't have to like them, I don't like half of them, so I agree there...but I just find it sad for these people who are learning the game, who are truly new to it, to get killed over and over for being part of something that wasn't their fault in the first place.

    *shrugs*

I agree with you Kelos, but even though you might accept the changes, it doesn't mean that you have to like them.

How about a Guild with Powerplayers who teaches new players ( non-members ) how to play and quest, etc?

-That way both will be happy, right?

I see Jabba's points...at the same time, the game evolves, and things change, much like ER's, battlepoints, increase in PK-ing, etc. If we go off the logic about how great things were in the old days, then there are many things that aren't that great.

But I do agree about a guild theme approval process...even with automatic guilds being able to be formed, it would be nice if they were still subject to theme approval.

When I started playing this game guilds were awesome, powerful and you often had to work very hard to get into one. Now, after dev22, everyone can buy their own guild. All you need are some active friends, and gold. Because hey, who cares about theme? A good theme would probably prevent you from getting all the good uniques or make it harder to gold.

This is why I don't like your guild, Hart. Your 'theme' would never have been approved in the old guild system. I do not expect you to care about my opinion, and I'm sure I will get a very harsh response, and I don't even know why I'm posting this so...

    Have a nice day!

And not every player enjoys the power-playing aspect of the game, Jabba. We have a place for just doing simple quests, teaching the funner parts of the game. In general, the MUD responsds with a negative attitude towards us and attempts to kill that. We're trying to help the newer players of the game, we enjoy doing it. We just have to try and ignore people against that...

...and I'll never understand why everyone wants all the newer players to go away, without them, we have no game.

Why not, Jabba? Not every guild is full of powerplayers.
