Not so much Berzelius, let me relay to you what happened at Aiglos, seeing as how I was there...
I was down there with Drille, I fucked up and was drunk with Aiglos, Baklen stole Aiglos from me and ignored numerous requests to have it returned. Seeing as how BkD and Beornings were friendly(we thought) we rightfully expected him to return the spear. Baklen did not reply, so I informed DW of the situation and he got Baklen as he was exiting Aiglos waterfall with our spear, NOT afk. But sure enough after he got PKed he wanted to talk a lot.

I think Daywalker's life was a little less valuable to Baklen in this instance as he recalled the way his 'friend' had killed him at Aiglos while he was away from the keyboard... Both deaths here were intentional
First off, Baklen, have you heard about 'shield'?:P You should have even had it aliased.
Second, what was this? A newbs gathering?:) First they come uneaglesighted (very newbiesh) and you are standing there uneaglesighted too. What if they had triggered to attack you?
If you wanna 'wear stuff' after the enemy enters, just stay a tile north or stay camoed or something. Or trigger 'enters' todo 10camo or something.
Also, you could've moved 2-3 tiles to get them lost. Or DW could.
But Baklen should've shielded.
Another thing - where were their necroes?:PP They were supposed to know you were there.
Too bad DW died but the rest of the log was laughable:P
Can you imagine patrols + blinded ERs?:) They would all have been toast.
You should've given DW a one handed weap and you could've gotten them all. An Ulmo (had you known he was the target) would have been useful too but we know how rare ulmoes are:P
Last, nice courage fighting them off:)
Check the comments on the Altar log a page back, where Jubal killed him. Then you will know why Baklen didn't move.
