I thought the log was ok. Sure he didn't know much about what he was doing (in Mordor) but as Mirnac said his general instincts were pretty good and the log gives a good impression of what mordor can be like to people who don't know it.

Well sure it wasnt the best performance from Elk no es and such. BUT atleast he thought quick enough to run west east west and so on until the attacker didnt follow and quickly pull out his staff and cast light and then get out. Atleast that shows quick reactions. And im sure that if Elk just get taught abit about mordor he will do just fine in the future.

Berz, I only posted this, because it's that extra zest, that little bit that spices up things, instead of the standard stab/attack/kill log. I already said that Eomar and i ARE mordor newbs, and it shows, sure. We were counting on some other people to get us out, and in the end, it was a close shave, and we had to rely on ourselves. I know i'm a mordor newb, and plan on staying that way. I don't plan to frequent mordor, by no means. and now i'm rambling on, so blah.

Its like reading the screen of the party member you brought with you as extra ammo, when they don't know wtf they're doing and are there solely because they -are- the extra ammo. The fact a Mordor newb is trapped in well and might get soloed by a fighter because they can't search the walls because they didn't ES when going into Mordor for PK isn't interesting, its disappointing. The adventure itself would be much more worthwhile if someone at least died.

Caenedrin's log might not be interesting, but it sure as hell was an excellent kill log and that's what I rated it on.

Since I can't rate this log based on pk-log criteria, I look at it from the aforementioned 'adventure' standpoint. And it wasn't an adventure, it was the same god damn thing that happens everytime an ER bang party fights a FR bang party, but this time from the PoV of the party member that did shit all. The only thing that this log brings, is a mild break from the monotony of straightforward kills.

No offense to Elk, who is my friend, I'm simply stating the facts.

Pallasch, Thank you, I certainly try to log good adventures, and well, if it's boring, well... I just won't post it.

I'm sure that you get bored of straight 'trigger to hunt, backstab, hunt to death, show loot' logs, i know i do.

And yes, berzelius, I was without eaglesight, because i have been into mordor exactly three times before(including this time) and haven't bothered to learn much about it. I do what the party leader tells me to, that's all.

Shardik and Zillak were also with us, but they got out, being focused on by jason and his mates. Montog didn't follow them, and stayed to attack us. So basically, since Eomar and I had no uniques, or good gear, and didnt know how to get out at the time, we were left behind, until i figured out how to get out.

This is a much better and more interesting read than Caenedrins log.

You're in Mordor without eaglesight, nor knowing how to get out of the god damn well? And you don't do anything yourself, and no one dies... Hmm... this is a raw dump man.

This appears, to me, to be a log of Elk not knowing where the heck he is. As such, I give it a 5!
