The code was supposed to specifcally state 'prevent_pickup' (or at least it was supposed to), such that in order to actually get the weapons onto the legends it would have to be moved there by an ainur. I'm not sure, I wrote the code 1-2 years ago now and my memory gets hazy.

I saw at least two weapons get looted in various logs of mine and others. Maybe they couldn't be *wielded* by non-legend players?

Unless it was changed, it was a morning star (ala easterling morning star). The two specials on it were 'whirl' which would have a random chance of hitting anyone you were in combat with (I think it was a 50% chance or something) and 'smash' which would smash your current target over the head (for quite a large damage I believe) with a chance of knocking the victim unconscious for a few rounds (not too many as to make it overpowered). The weapons were all coded such that they couldn't be picked up by anyone except an ainur though. I had some nifty plans for his armour as well, but what with the other projects I had going at the time and the lack of any other progress on the event it never got completed (lets just say that the armour was going to have a 5-10% chance of deflecting any blow on it onto another random person in the room).

Yeah if I'd had to choose a weapon from one of those lower tier legends it'd be Ulfast's flail for sure.

I'd been waiting to see if Ulfast would make an appearance. I wonder which ainur got to play him in the end. That morning star he had is a nifty little piece of work :) I'd envisioned it being a battle where you'd end up in combat with a lot of people so it's nice to see it do some work.

I finally make an appearance :)

A maniacal gleam flickers across Josi's eyes as he spots an

opening in his opponents's defenses. A startling Dwarven battlecry

bursts forth from his lips as he madly leaps forward. The dwarven form catches his opponent in a great bearhug and begins to spasm, driving the sharp spikes of the Dwarven battlerager armour into the helpless victim's soft flesh.

Dwarven Humping at its best :)
