I know for sure most evils wont kill low levels (maybe merciful to teach a lesson) but sometimes in a heat of battle you just dont have a chance to legend someone to see what level he/she is, or when you see someone in a red zone unless it is blunt obfious that it is a low level you just attack and ask questions later:-P

I like how FR/ER relations - on here and often on the mud - don't go much beyond blanket statements and namecalling. I come here in part to get away from college politics, but I think some of you people are just too used to slinging mud at 'the other guys.'
On the other hand, those of us who aren't embroiled in alts and multiplaying might not have any experience with 'the other half' except for those who come over just to rampage. And those who do little but whine here, either about situations or about other whiners. ;)

Amearn and Laefang mercifulled, it was just the rest of the part that didn't. The attack shouldn't have come anyway, but it looks to have happened too fast for people to disagree with it. Maybe instead of calling all ERs newbie killers (like Letina just did), you could single out the real ones?

I agree with Rekthorne that often debate or discussion devolve into downright namecalling but people shouldn't be taking such things to serious. If someone you've never met start calling you names over Internet you should only smile. Adoni called me dumb, liar and noob and that's what I did, I smiled. :P I tried to give him advice to loosen up a little and stop taking this game to seriously (I was once like him :P). I tried to be ironic but I guess my sense of humor sucks :P. It's only a game for God's sake. We are here to play. Exley, I'm referring to the basic log page/MUD dynamic where things at one point in a debate or discussion devolve into downright namecalling. Which a lot of times can then devolve into a punch in the face in certain real life situations. I am all for normal back-and-forth, but some of the conversations around here don't leave much room for that.
What the fuck...lowbie killing is lame, almost completely regardless of the situation (a level 5 FR thief at Kadar is the only exception I can think of, for example).
And Rekthorne, the threat of physical violence is never a deterant in a conversation, for me at least. If someone has so little convinction in their ideas and thoughts that they have to resort to fighting, then so be it. Unless you're merely talking about all of the flagrant shit-talking that goes on here. :P
