I never thought you could actually beat whip with that weapon. His mistake was in drinking (carrying) the phial.
Last time I saw it used was when someone killed Kalimac in there a couple months back.

Hmm, my armour was cool:) Well, true, I could've worn something better than pants but in this case Bartoss was wearing my chausses from the previous time I died at lvl 21. This happened shortly afterwards. I could've escaped, yes, I could've had better healing too but this goes to could haves:P

Well, for all that preparation, you really could have prepared a better armour/eq/potion combo. It seemed like you were going after style points, but style doesnt protect your ass as well as armour.
