Though the purported lag could not be anticipated, this was pretty stupid. Damper should have known he couldn't have beaten someone armed to the teeth, talent regardless.

What the hell do you mean with, 'I'm not surprised - he IS AA'? AA has been home to many great players, and many great people. In the past its members were VERY close, and had a great amount of fun together. That's really all that matters after all, isn't it? It's just a shame that these days many of those players have not been happy with the current state of the MUD the past few years, or have RL responsibilities.

Locking a maxed character who has three times your healing and just landed an ambush on you when your ONLY healing is phial... good lord. Did he alias to the lockup all the way from Kadar and then not have an alias to leave the lock? That's the only explanation I can see.

whip is never the pk'ers weapon of choice. although, you occassionally do get those blazing fireworks going. But that rarely happens against maxed opponents.
