I'm still looking for a game to play, i tried DSL mud, i have Bilungada there, a lvl 27 warrior there (max is 51), a legionnaire in the verminasian kingdom, but it is boring and i rarely log in...
I won't even try wow, pay to play isn't my style. But as soon as my internet comes back, i'll start playing NWN on-line again... btw, if you haven't tried yet, NWN2 sucks.

T2T used to be a fun game where almost everyone got along. (at least, thats how I recall it). The people thay didnt get along were the players, and we took care of our own disputes. (SoU vs. FRA, Megs Vs. Durms, etc, etc)
Now, even if you try to avoid the politics and drama, it seems to find you.

Irmo was a large part of instigating this structure change. He's now a power... and I doubt he'll stop being a power anytime soon :P.

The funny part is, Melkor probely still claims not to be a power hungry power abusing sack of shit.
Culfinglin has been locked out for several years now. I haven't checked, but it's possible they decided to just end it and nuke her.
By the way, my 'ideal' solution for voting was to have most votes handled by OLs/maia - not Powers or Council. What Aule/Melkor did - removing Council vote but leaving Valar vote - simply hypocritical. Most Valar (and Powers, for that matter) have a much weaker understanding of gameplay than most ex-Council, OLs, or maiar.
There were Council people who hadn't appeared in years.
Speaking of, what happened to Culfinglin?
Last I had heard, Council members were still relatively active.
Now they're very obviously not.
And re: the rank changing stuff, Aule told me that Drogian's file had been corrupted, there was no stealth nuke. *shrug*

I think that the hardban's a shame. I only ever really knew you as Fernando, and then not as well as I could have. Using 'Pederasta' was risky business in the first place, but it was blown out of proportion. I do think that Melkor was acting on the possibility that it could have implied deeper things, but I think that possibility was phenomenally low. If there had been any sort of harassment reports or logs of indecency on Pederasta's part, I could see it, but it seems that there weren't.
If you've a mind to come back, I think most of the playerbase would support you, and Valinor isn't by nature unbending and unrealistic about such things.

I dont know why The New Mud got stopped - there were no such problems there. All were playing for the fun and it was great. The only thing missing there was more players - something that comes with time.

I even got reinstated after that and we once again had the chance to play together. But I don't regret suiciding all my chars again after what Melkor did. I'll not blame Melkor here again. I know he wants the best for the mud (I Hope), but he should keep in mind, that a joke from a guy like fernando, who's been playing this game for 5 years, isn't something to be taken so seriously. It was afterall, just a joke, and a joke with a lvl 9 char. I hope you understand that someday.
Anyways. We spent great hours togheter here Lobo. The riots, and all the little other things we had in common.
You have always been a revolutionary. As fernando you focused on some points that you thought that were unbalaced...and what happened? They nerfed it. You were always helping the game your own way, trying to show to everybody some weak points, to be worked on by the coding people. The riots were also a way to prove how weak that sistem was, and the ERs were step by step becoming better.
I have learned many things with you, even had the chance of meeting you RL, and you and I used to think the same way...A great pair.
