Right after the Battle of Azanulbizar, what did the other dwarf houses say to the Longbeards? 'Give us money.' Did they really need it? Probably not, at least not as much as Dain and Thorin did. The only reason they were helping the Longbeards at all was to get vengeance for the death of Durin's heir.
Belegost dwarves are Broadbeams. Erebor doesn't owe them any favors, at least as far as I know. So where's the thematic problem here?

I don't think anyone is getting scared away from the game, as has been demonstrated pretty extensively with where qb's are going after they leave.
As for Herkimerites in BKD, I think we only have 1 or 2 at most - Gilstro isn't a member any more, and Calicious is a shortbeard.

Yeah, I agree with the immaturity issue, but again, a lot of those people aren't in QB. The annoying ones are just a few people with several alts. Or in Dornath's case, several chars he has hacked. So basically you guys are trying to scare away the only somewhat normal people from Herkimer. Besides, there's probably more people from Herkimer in BKD than QB :P
Actually all of Herkimer are pathetic except for a select few. Whether they spreekill or have their attitude problems, or immaturity, or ability to be completely annoying, the MUD would be better without them anyways. I agree with Azer 100%, he's doing a good thing.

The fact is that most of QB consists of Herkimer people. the type that thrives on spreing newbies and what not. But aside from that, take a look at t2tmud.org/forums on the 12 page activity thread. Everyone seem to agree that these new guilds are just harming the game. These joker guilds take away alot from the atmosphere, and they steal a lot of young blood who just don't know any better with their open-door policy's.
Some seem to think that they're being targetted cause they're weak. That couldn't be further from the truth I don't target VC. or GiM or KoDA although it would be like shooting fish in a barrel; Because they all have strong solid themes, they bring something unique to the table, they add to the atmosphere. QB does not.
Everyone's spitting on these type of guilds and want them gone. But when someone decides todo something about it instead of waiting for Valinor to fix the problem for them, it's like the mud is divided into two teams where one side is cheering you on and the other is frowning and wigglin' their fingers cause they don't agree with the means you use in order to achieve your goal. I'm not trying to drive players away, and I don't reckon I am. The ones who leave are being left alone. This is guild politics, they should have been content with staying a clan.
We have a perfectly fine thematic reason for doing what we do as well, they could've agreed to our terms from the start which was a part of how we chose to roleplay this, and avoided the whole deal. So in short, It doesn't matter if QB has the best or the worst players in the game, in the end it's my oppinion that we're better off without them.
Its amazing how different winnetou is now than what he was like 3+ years ago, but yeah, azer is right. They know they are being targetted, they can leave the guild if they want.
