We decided a bit ago that we would at least attempt to go back to the no kills outside of Mordor with most guilds. I saw Azer was on, I spoke with him, and we came to an agreement that, at least imo, benefited both of us. SS is just a sword, after all. A simple unique...are you implying that you would be so obsessed over a sword that you would ignore long term benefits? Especially when the overall deal doesn't involve any backing down? Hmm..well, perhaps that is why I have no clue who you are. You should play more. Please. Do show you can do more than merely talk. Or not. It won't bother me.
It's funny how Laefang came on here all bravado machismo talking about how pathetic BkD are, and how he can kill them whenever he wants.. but the situation ended with his GM caving in and giving Azer back his sword. Test amusant indeed. Guess Athin ought to keep you on a tighter leash in future. :P

Sorry but people might think I'm an advocate for the bolas... I can say I appreciate a new change that adds a different dynamic to the game, and is slightly helpful when targets live in their innrooms/guildhalls, and once again can 'evade' their attackers with a little wit about them. I just am disgusted by the amount of ignorance and the mob mentality to nerf things people can't deal with/don't know about. Its like burning people at the stake...
You think these bolas are bad? Try the ones that Black Hand killed Nasira or Fortitude with, or the ones they used when they 10 manned my bountyhunter. I know the negative effects, but I also know their advantages, and how to survive them. People should look into that.
And maybe if Mog could type 'shift grip', or even more risky, 'trigger drop todo get bolas into pack' (if he didn't want to wield SS single handedly) he would have lived... Oh well, a new lesson for the dwarfies!
Laefang's guild adapted to the shafted servant changes, etc, remodeled playability, and does not 'sit around reminiscing'. Sitting around reminiscing is you listing a bunch of talented playerkillers that don't play anymore when I tried to explain to you that ERs were predominantly better killers than Frs, due to their structure and how they were defined from their release 2+ years ago.
Whereas SoU has survived and changed, BkD just sits around questing stuff and filling the vault. To each their own, but really, there is no comparison between guilds now, they are almost all diluted and shadows of what they could be. BkD is the closest to a model guild, but its basis is in the number of people who appreciate the monopolized dwarven RP.

Yeah, BkD's been in numerous wars over the years, on and off with Udungul and Durmanhoth since the day it was formed. That group of players has reached a place where they're the richest, largest and hell, one of the most fun guilds to be in on T2T. Dwarves are proud and stubborn fellows, and these guys can brag cause they've earned the right. SoU on the other hand, has become a fucking joke. You can start whining about other guilds when yours has pulled its ass out of the gutter.

An observative player would use bolas thrown at him against his enemy. But yes, bolas suck. It's been habit for valinor to nearly entirely nerf movement halting items. Bolas just need to have a low success rate, much like dark arrows.
I think they nerfed the length of time you are trapped by a bola, but still...seems like if you have 3 party members each with a set...you could probably hit someone with them in succession, and they don't have a chance to at least run. Reminds me a bit of hamstring when it came out and how easy it was to bang someone with it...they had no chance to get away.
I like the idea of them though...maybe they just need to be limited so someone can only be hit with them once every few minutes, like backstab, ambush, etc.
Lol i got killed twice by team, 3vs me i had no chance to do anything, nor move nor drinking anything. Just could watch how they kill me while i'm busy...
