adamant, as are the walls.  Banners hang from the high, arched ceiling,

designs of tributary kingdoms.  All around you trolls, orcs and easterlings
go about their business in this huge tower.  You begin to feel intense
fear, accompanied by a sense of being watched--but you cannot locate the
source any more accurately than that it comes from above, high up in this
massive tower.
