Yeah, what's with so many people thinking there should be an extra 'n' tacked onto 'whine' when you change tenses? Let me shine some light onto the grammar of your native language. Generally this rule only applies to verbs of one syllable - get, pat, hug, etc. There are always exceptions. Please do not apply it to whine. Whinning and whinned just make me die a little inside :(

ERs, when last I checked (which was NOT recently, so don't bitch if it's not as accurate now as it was then) were all an extremely close knit group. The reason they were so effective against FRs was they all basically operated like one guild. ERs brag(ged) about how much of a community they are all the time. This is not 100% true any more after the advent of Black Hand and their nonsense, but the general idea holds. If there is any problem with Duncan's logic, it was him overestimating the value of the ER community to Bragl.
Threatening to kill someone is hardly whining. Telling someone that they will die for reporting a solo attempt is not whining. Retaliating for reports is NOT a new practice.
What we see from Shadowy's attempt logs is 1.) ER gold supply is ridiculously close to untriggerable breaks; people who _actively_ play the game need never put themselves at risk, 2.) Duncan attempting an unlikely PK - he does it alot, and a suprisingly large amount of the time he is successful, and 3.) Shadowy showcasing for everyone to see how poor his breaking skills were... given how unbearably close he was to an untriggerable legitimate break.

Duncan is using the sort of logic only someone with very small brain power would use: I tried to random kill you, you reported me, so in return, i will randomly kill someone you have no association with. ITs just that simple, nothing more to it. for some reason the other 3 logs dragged you down a lot. i don't about everyone else but the 4 solo's were something that even hellflame or any other er noob could do with his random pking in mordor. ers pking in mordor isn't really special considering the insane amount of advantages they have in there.

Like a couple of days ago I attempted Archangel. Then he went to Mordor, tried to pull off a set up - that's more like saying a 'No';). We ended up having had some fun and me liking Archangel more:P
On the Bragel case - I attempted Bragel on his way back from Umbar and he ran straight into his innroom in Kadar. Then he healed a bit and then ran straight to his GH in Dol Guldur. Then he reported me from there and never went out of GH again. If he wanted not to be attacked again - well no problemo, I can't enter his GH. Why whine and report? Deal with it yourself! Or they teach people to run to the authorities nowadays:/ I hope such people never find themselves alone in the wilderness.:P
So I wanted to check how deep are Bragel's selfish instincts and did what I had promised would happen - killed the first evil I found out of a GH/innroom.
To sum up: Bragel reported, I paid 1,5k fine, Hamezaar died and lost more so Bragel could have his fine gold. I hope Bragel is happy about it. May be that's the evil way after all.
Actually, you are speaking about justification. I'm speaking of his method of picking his target, you might have reason, yet still kill randomly, which, although is stupid, happens.
Hamezaar died because he was the first ER to walk past someone that was pissed off with someone totally unrelated for a stupid reason and lacking the maturity to go after that person or his guildmates. That's pretty random.

It work's against noobs. And i think Duncan wrote that he dosnt spree and he dosnt kill randoms, and he dosnt kill newbies because it is destroying the game. So he threatens this guy, does it means Duncan thinks he is a noob? because then he kills noobs (or atleast think he is) and he said he killed some random evil just because someone stood up against him and said NO! So With other words, what duncan writes here is just alot of bullshit and he dosnt stand with his words for 5cent.

Is it me or does Duncan sound more and more whiney every time I see him speak. Personally I generally don't report, but if you attack someone on a mud where you are fully aware of the lawsystem you can't bitch if you get reported, threatening to pk someone's legion/guild mates because they report is pretty pathetic.
If you don't want to pay fines, don't attack people, simple as that. If you don't like getting reported, go back to the old method of bribing the person you killed.
I'd argue that threatening to kill someone for reporting you starts going into the realms dealt with by 'help harassment'.
