I think we've been over the issue about innrooms before, let's just drop it and accept the fact that players can innbreak.

If someone petitions the criminal record making inn rooms behave like court rooms thing, I'll approve it.

Woh Duncan, you are getting into 'common sense' with that Morannon vs. Inn Keeper thing, and as we all know, that is one of the worst ways to prove a point on this MUD, but your criminal record idea does have a bit of merit whereas it handicaps the people who partake in PK and leaves the other players out.

May be you are right too, Rekthorne. Perhaps this shouldn't apply to people with clean criminal record and they could be saved by the innkeeper. Considering how bugged criminal records are, may be it could be made so that only offenses count on the criminal record.

But on the other hand - you can pwn Morannon solo and some innkeeper is gonna stop you??

Same as always, I interject myself to comment on inn-break complainers. If you can't finish your target knowing they can get to an inn without breaking, then tough shit. I understand where you are coming from as PKers, but forcing people to make your job easier is complete garbage.

Yeah, I don't get why people try to make it more complicated than that.

Or the Innkeeper would just tell you that he don't want any fighting in his inn, and you should finish your fight and then you are welcome to enter your room.

if you were in a fight, and ran to your inn, with the guy chasing you, you would have a hard time closing the door without him fighting to get in. perhaps it could be a struggle to enter inn room, with the hunter having a slight chance of forcing his way into the room with you.

well, neat set.up for you man...

and about inns.. hmm... it will take the real meaning of an 'inn', if they let someone get inside without your approval...

You shouldn't be enter your innroom while still in combat. Hmm another idea - if you try to enter your innroom while still in combat, you get a message 'You are still in combat, are you sure you want to do it' - like the Morannon. If you type 'up' or 'tent' or whatever twice, you go inside AND the assassin should follow you inside. All them strongboxes...:)

Why are people still innbreaking? When we had fade innbreaking was very frowned upon, now we have evade - use it.

Ok, this is twice I've seen a log where the killer gets an ear from poison. This should be changed.
