To be fair... I got killed by poison once, adjusted how I played, and I never got killed by poison again.
I'd say bolas, hamstring, 2-handed change, and backstab change all were harder to deal with than poison.
Exactly, anyone who complains about the poison WHATSOEVER needs to realise the fact the quest itself can easily become a death trap, and that there is an easy to find and carry cure. There is NOTHING wrong with it, the only thing wrong is the attitude of the whining bitches who cannot take it upon themselves to actually PLAY the game, and find things out. I guess its just easier to bitch like ignoramuses.

There is nothing wrong with the current system and I've been victim of the poison/backstab shit. Makes it even hard for a fully prepared warlord to turn a 2man around now. But THATS how it should be, assassins are fucking pansies. Wait till the changes and then your going to cry even more. Lets just stop whinning and focus on the real issue. All the noobs crying:(
Healing has always been like this, if not worse. It's just now everyone uses it. It's common. I was talking to someone the other day who played 10years ago. He said he couldn't believe how everyone carries these items now. But that can be expected. One day your ridiculed for having these items, the next everyone uses it. Hilarious but thats how the mud is.
fade was nice because it gave the person being stalked a chance to notice the person following them.. the whole you hear footsteps or whatever it was..
4-5 jerkies work if you take enough time between them. Then you become a good target when your tummy is full:P No EP for headbutts either.

I have a system by which I can stay camoed for a very long time, but it would have worked almost as well with fade.
Manni, the last time I spent 3-4 mins camoed, I lost hunt because I went out of EP like a n00b and Archangel had a good laugh at me:P
The problem is overpowered items and skills in general, such that you need to be fully geared to withstand any sort of attack, since an assassin can camo on you for 45 minutes and wait for you to drop to average, at which point you're just a backstab, headbutt, and poison away from dying. Tone down camouflage, backstab, poison, and healing so that there's as much skill involved as there is preparation. Yes, timing in a PK is a skill.
Yeah problem here is that there is so much healing, first you got hand healing with instance heal (phial takes a tick or two, but almost instant) and after that you can use packable healing to survive. So to be able to kill most people that know they will be attacked you need this kind of preparation to have a chance solo, so changing poison/Stabs wont solve much, except maybe making solo's near to impossebil. THat is the problem, like someone else wrote before, you change one thing you have to take in account of alot of other stuff that is affected.
I actually don't see why anything needs to be changed...I used Mori, Morgoth, two shimmering rings and poison, and Ravathir still lived despite -21hp :)

I wouldn't say it's Rumil's fault... I don't think Rumil has been Balance OL for too long. MM has been in production since before the backstab was changed so it's not necessarily anyone's 'fault'. Numbers for stuff like poison are filled in based on whims of maiar and are meant to be changed by balance in the QC process. This item clearly slipped past QC and needs to be changed. But assigning blame isn't the right way to do it.
This doesn't mean Rumil is off the hook for taking a week to look at my gmedit project...

The stab itself was less than 100 hp. I agree that stabs are overpowered, but this is a poor example.
Stabs have really gotten out of hand....2 handed weapon plus poison and that stab took 120 hp he was down to 110 from full health in one round....not to mention poison kicks in durring battle as well...

Yeah but Ravathir had 88hp being full, Not sure about your HP/EP stomach status, but could be a close call.
