not quite true. Pentheus had hauberk+shield+some bracers+being warrior. You died in both logs because you were disorganized. You were completely unprepared and you didn't know what to do. In both logs you could survive at least. Not to mention Ulmo in the first one...
I (and I believe Balz and Pent) had almost no armor in both of these logs. It's no surprise Jared kicked our asses. Job well done.
