Stabs is just like anything else. Fireballs can do 30 or 110 dmg, leeches can rock shit or take away like 4 hp/ep :(, I've had sandstorms crash on me before they even got off a round! It's just teh way it goes.
People have always had a chance to survive. Its called caution, and l2ping.
Yeah, its a real shame people actually have a chance to survive if they don't have hand healing now.
I don't still have this log (I don't log myself dying, it makes me sad =p. I'd have so many *snickers insanely* But i think it done about 35 hp from memory.

If you'd like, Razey, I can go locate 10 consecutive logs from a few years ago wherein no BS does more than 10 damage.
Backstabs are actually variable at present - they _can_ land 80hp stabs, and they _can_ land a 10hp stab. At least there are none of the nonsense double miss backstabs from before.
