The timing mattered him getting out alive.

Well... I don't think the stalking thing was very relevant because I was locked in. I mean, I didn't have climbing gear, I wasn't immoral, there was nowhere to go. If he'd stabbed me 5 or 10 or 20 rounds earlier, I would have been in the same situation, save that I wouldn't have been able to get out alive had I chanted my ring. I don't think his timing was anything special, really. It's kind of like if I ran into undergate and forgot both a bladed weapon and a codpiece, then he runs in and hunts me for 15 minutes, then stabs. The timing didn't matter; the fact that I made a mistake that got me lucked up matters. He could have gone in uncamoed and it wouldn't have made a lick of difference.

As for the Art of War stuff, I may not have been prepared, but it was certainly expected. The instant I walked into DG I thought... oh damn, we're dead.

Waiting until the perfect moment to strike, and bringing down your target when they are vulnerable... perfect assassination?

Oh man, and you know what the real suck was? I had a healing ring I didn't use, and 58ep.

If that's a perfect assassination... wow.

So, interesting story behind this: I was going to go look for someone on the travelto between Osgiliath and Dolguldur and was at Edoras; accidentally typed 'dg' instead of 'osg', and, at some unknown point in the past apparently Valinor decided to put in a travelto between Edoras and Dol Guldur. So I showed up at dg thinking I was in Osgiliath, and ran the dirs to go from west gate to east gate. Needless to say, this put us in a rather awkward position. So we proceeded to, you know, do the whole bashing our way out thing, and actually managed to kill off all the many guards that lock you in DG if god forbid an FR (regardless of align) wanders in. After Kelevra stabs, ironically, neither of us have the EP to operate the crank! So I die.

So there's the funny story behind it! I hope you were all entertained :)
