I said that in general, most players are pathetic if they cannot survive an attempt these days. There are always exceptions, no one is perfect, no one is a god, and there are always elements that are unforseeable. However, following my logic, you cannot use isolated incidents as a foundation, you should analyze the major trend in success/failure. For example, Gizmalin dying in this log. Now look at how many countless times he has escaped, or turned things around and killed people. As you can see, the isolated incidents are not compatible with a true commentary on his ability. Now, if we look at Tiresias and maintaining a friendship without eventually dissolving into misanthropic psychotics, for example - This has happened to basically anyone he has ever met, therefore, using our friendship and its aftermath as a commentary on his state of mental antisocial agitation is valid. Do you follow Dave?

And I apologize to everyone - the specific quote I was looking for, I realize now, was in fact on my MSN history on my desktop back in the states. uh, very good in a very short time? First off, he's still not that good. Second, I think he's aged, in this past year or two, a lot more than I have in my.. 6? years here.. Meaning that actually, it's not really that fast. Also, if you learn it in a short period of time (one year as opposed to six), it's actually easier seeing as you don't forget things, get rusty, or get hit with as many massive changes to adapt to.

Hirgail, numbers are numbers, I've seen very little proof of any of that. You hate him so much because of his volatile personality, and the fact that he became very good in a very short time, that he represents an era of the MUD you were not a fan of, etc, etc. Get over it.
