The one attempt that probably shouldn't have happened was the attempt on Cyric. But attmpts on Verus and Baklen were completely warranted -- they had killed Durms so they were hitlisted. That's not much of a stretch.

So random attempts durring a peace time situation isn't warrant enough for war?

Oh and Havok damn man how many hunt breaks did you pass from umbar to Durm GH?

I haven't tried to hide from anyone the fact that I want to change themes in time. When old players like Serex or Havok come back, they have a learning curve for this kind of change... My inactivity coinciding with Havok's return let this particular situation get a little out of control, but it's still nothing that warranted war.

Perhaps they should write a new theme.

'Do you like to heal and watch the warm glow of life return to your victim while you caress his face? Then join us and learn the kind art of healing. For if you are not a patient. You are a FRIEND!!'

ooh, good shit Hirgail :P Since you won't do anymore Adventures in Caras Galadhon, I guess that's a suitable replacement.

'If you like to kill and watch the life force drain from your victim while you loot his unmoving body, then join us and learn the dark arts of assassination. For if you are not a member, then you are a TARGET!!'

    lolz

'Since the last bkd war we have not killed one player and have made many friends along the way.'

Hahaha. The Happy Adventures of Durmanhoth in the Land of Sunshine.

Caenedrin peeked into the brush and found a small, fluffy bunny there crying.

    'Oh dear!' exclaimed Caenedrin.

    'Whatever is the matter?'

    The bunny sniffled.

'Oh kind Sir! Please help me. My name is Snugglywuggly and I've got my foot caught in this nasty trap a hunter set.'

Ok I can't be bothered finishing that right now, but rest assured, it will be a best seller for children aged 0-5 when i finish it.

Fortunately Atalash, in this instance, we are the innocent victims.

What exactly is fortunate about that? Seems to me to be very unfortunate and sucky for you!

I love how every time there's a war each side tries to blame the other for starting it. Just once I'd like to see a guild say 'Yeah, we started the war and we'd do it again to!'

WRONG Manni. Havok attacked Verus at ZZ to stop him from logging out at the ledge. Know wtf your guild does before sprouting bullshit.

The bang in question was not in Mordor, it was from between Umbar and Kadar to approximately South Ithilien sp.

Atalash, sorry but you gotta be specific about which character was banged and by whom. I've been inactive for most of the past 3 weeks.

Durm has gotten along exceptionally well with every guild in Arda until quite recently. We partied with BkDs in Mordor until just before the first little tussle our two guilds had.

It's just BkD that we've had issues with. There's nothing with RoI that we can't work out.

So really what the 'war' boils down to is that BkD says they can kill anyone in Mordor and the BkD aren't allowed to be hitlisted for those Mordor kills. However, if anyone attacks a BkD in Mordor, that person becomes hitlisted.

So that's what we're fighting over here, guys. Enjoy.

Actually, Havoc attacked people during reboot and participated in that bang Tireless mentioned, among others. Outside of Mordor too and all hmm? People are just actually retaliating for once :P

Verus was hitlisted for killing Panayoti and Deathmatch.

Gaam was attacked because of a lingering Udungul hitlist from when Waste was GM before Olgert and I worked out a solution.

Havoc attacked a bunch of people in Mordor (I think without hunting since he isn't an assassin as far as I remember, but I could be wrong) and that was stupid of him, but RoI's always dealt with people on a person-by-person basis in situations like this and it's worked out fine.

Yeah, but you didn't atone for your past actions. Can't really just throw everything aside and expect everyone else to do the same. Besides, its not Durmanhoth anymore. Its the so-called 'new durms'. You should've just put the guild out of its bloody misery and made a new one. And yes, some durms have been attacking random people.

...Not for lack of trying, wrong-character-posting-person. I've been attempted on three separate characters by durms before BKD became involved; One of those attempts was a 3-man bang. Havok has tried at least a half dozen targets; Rellik has tried at least 4.

So let's not confuse incompetence with benevolence, shall we?

Just so everyone knows, Havok went around attacking people willy-nilly; when asked about it, Manni said that what Havok did was Havok's business, and didn't reflect on the guild.

Fortunately Atalash, in this instance, we are the innocent victims. We had a peace treaty with BKD from the last war and the violated it multiple times. Albiet in the past the guild 'Durmanhoth' has done some ruthless things, but we have burned the fat off our souls and sought out a new beginning. If you were to asked many of the unbiased players of the game what durmanhoth has been up to lately, they would say they have starkly improved. Since the last bkd war we have not killed one player and have made many friends along the way.

Umm no? He was hitlisted. For attacking Verus. That doesn't take him off the god damn hitlist. If VERUS killed a so called durm. Havok has to meet punishment. I talked to Havoc. Seems this war is all your fault. I should of logged the comms to but I decided not to so you don't look like a fucking moron in public.

Their retaliation was justified Baklen, as you well know. Verus killed a member, he was hitlisted. Im sure you, as BKD, are more than familiar with this process. Please stop trying to make BKD out to be heroes.
