I deliberatly misspelled it, it was supposed to be somewhat funny as Azrylar explained, but since english is actualy my second language i could never explain it like he did, nor did i see the need cause i thought everybody would get it and not start a debate about it...

I understand the source material, but it still doesn't strike me as funny. It seemed forced, like you had to stretch to find something that worked phonetically.

Zillak used a homophone because he was expressing a common English saying phonetically. I constructed a similar expression using homophones and phonetics, and incorporated the running escape goat gag, with excellent context to a made up riddle. The joke draws on Zillak, the English language, escape goats, and subtlety. Enjoy.

What did Zillak say as affirmation to the article of Batman's clothing that asked if it could fly to Jane Doe's Rescue?

    'Es cape, goat ewe herd!'

As a recap, this is to be pronounced:

    Yes cape, go to her.

This was by far the best escape goat joke ever created. Reward me Hirgail, or face dire bestial punishment.

Sir, the question I pose to you is this: Are you aware that the saying is two cents and deliberatly misspelled it as a delicious pun or due to English being your second language, did you simply hear the saying and assume it was sense?

    I patiently await your response.

remark and will make this comment thread even more interesting ;)

The word sense has more than a few meanings, and in this particular situation it was meant to mean 'common sense', a sound practical judgment that was my comment, or at least i hope it was...

... uh, darkhour, some people have that much healing on them at all times. Does that mean you should never attempt them? No. Besides, yes it is possibly you may be able to kill someone with that much healing, either by carrying that much yourself or just boosting your stats a whole lot. Plus if someone has fast enough reflexes they should be able to take down some healing right after a stab. Or, if they're very paranoid, set up a client trigger to do it for them. With travelto quickly you can get all the way across Arda in a minute anyways so it really doesn't matter how far away from the guildhall they are, just if they're going to be lame enough to use it all the time.

Never leaving the shadow of your guildhall = pussy

well if they got 500 healing, chances are you arent going to kill them either, so even then it shows bad tactics by the assassin for choosing a poor opportunity. i mean assassins have all the tools they need, camo is unbreakable, hunting almost never fails, shape tells you roughly how much hp they have, and with the right combination of potions, vials, and weapons you can do 100 hp in 1 round easy. every time a pk fails it is the assassins own fault for not thinking it through enough.

and dont go complaining about a person never leaving the shadow of their guild hall either, thats called knowing your limitations and playing smart

Zillak, its 'two cents', unless you're saying you only have 2 senses or something instead of 5 (or 6, whatever).

Darkhour, that suggestion is just retarded :P abuse written all over it. Also, if someone is able to guildbreak while the attempt starts some ways off from it, it actually usually means they had 500hp in healing.

but nobody is talking shit, except the people who were dumb enough to attack some one near their gh, unless its people talking shit to the assassin for being dumb enough to attack some one near a gh. but i think i have a fair solution

if you are hunting and in combat someone (meaning you are in the room, not 'he attacked me, we are in combat, now im going to check out their guildhall')e you can hunt them into their guild hall, however, combat started inside a guildhall is unreportable, and stops immediatly outside the guildhall (only for combat started inside), when you are no longer in combat you automatically flee the gh. but while you are in there, if there are other members in the hall they can attack you without worrying about reports, and just for fun, lets say guild NPCs auto attack as well...that will actually make them worth 5k or however much they cost (and just to balance that, everytime one dies you have to pay for it at the next boot)

Nobody here commended Memic for taking his death like a true dwarf and fighting all the way(I know he tryed to bash the door down but he fought after that and notice the lack of whinning after the death and taking it in stride), *thumbs up* for that!

On the note of guildbreaking i dont agree with Azhrarns' extreme point of view where he evens it out with quitting, alsow Darkhour has a point.

But i think that people who know really well how to huntbreak actualy do HB anywhere except the guild cause there is in 99% of the time a huntbreak closer than the guild unless you're standing in your guild foyer...

    just my 2 sense

The whole point is you using a feature that can't be circumvented. IE quitting , guildbreaking, inn breaking etc etc. *shrugs* I really don't care about it, I just get aggravated when people talk alot of shit (like you for instance) about skill and then use a ingame feature that is untriggerable:)

the point is if you are closer to your guild than annother break, guild break, you are a fool not to

if there are other breaks around you use those to save some dignity

if you are far away from your gh and guild break, you are a fool albeit a lucky one

but whats worse, the fool or the retard who cant kill him

thats my problem with people that complain about guild breaks, if you are too close to their guild you did not choose your opportunity wisely, if they were far away and still guild break you then you suck at pk, theres the middle ground where you can bitch about guildbreaking without looking the fool yourself, but those are rare.

    you know, on that note

ive always been of the persuasion that if you attack some one that far away from their guild, and they still guild break-sure it means they might not know how to break-but more importantly it shows how much you suck for not being able to kill them in 100 rooms

  • Author
    Azhrarn [legacy]

    01 November 2007 18:45:01

Are you referring to the time you logged on an alt and killed me in a quest in 15seconds? Or the time you betrayed me when we were friends?

Cause those are the only two times you have ever come close to me. But don't worry, next time I attack you in edoras again I'm sure you'll run straight to gh cause you are that elite eh?

'This is a war. As you can see no BKD ever leaves gh. And if it does, he leaves to bait attacks.'

This is not true. In the last 3 days I've spent 10 hours equipping and golding, most of the time with 7+ durms (including yourself) on. Given I've been unlucky and gotten caught twice, but still, I think it's rather impolite and disresepctful to say that ALL BKD ONLY leaves the hall to bait attacks.

One of the reasons to join a guild that has camaraderie and knows team work is so that you don't have to go it alone. We work together well, we help each other out, we get gold to relevel people that die, and we pay each others fines.
