The merchant bag goes on the shoulder spot, so it doesn't hinder having like a LBC or something, and it is big enough for flasks/botas, so it's a good thing. It's quite a new quest

    Since Tevildo's bored...

Some friends and I sort of crashed a pool party last night to rescue my friend's sister (long stupid story). While they were off talking to her, I was listening in to a conversation these people were having about politics. One guy went on and on about Bush being a good President.

I respect opinions that differ from mine, in the hopes that I will be accorded the same basic respect so that we can discuss our differences rationally. I'm with Voltaire we he said 'I disagree with what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it.'

So, is it any surprise that this Bush supporter was living in a million dollar home in a multi-million dollar neighborhood?

Anyways, I haven't felt so out of place since I went to my former Baptist church and proclaimed myself an agnostic-leaning-towards-atheist.

Aryl, if Mordhred doesn't have a basic understanding of PK, ravathir doesn't know how to use the 'hunt' command. But that isn't the point, since you don't have to know how to cook an egg to tell if an omelette was nicely/poorly done.

If you didn't get over (I think 30% I'm not sure of the exact %ages) a certain percentage of the entire NPC's life the mob isn't tagged to you. if the person who did tag the mob isn't in the room when the it dies then the corpse is FFA without any loot timer (this also used to apply to Anonymous Figures, they wouldn't class as being in the room).

No, Shabba, I can't access the helpfiles, but if I remember correctly in help law the only way to 'claim' something's loot so that if anyone takes it its corpselooting is be in the room and in combat. Neither of which Tarkus was when Rav attacked, but both of which Rav was when Mordhred's alt looted (I have no idea why it didn't give him 'This isn't your kill' btw, I'm such a noob) :(

My props were to both sides. I understand Breeze was ND and Aeldor had 32 hp in the end. I do give props to Ravathir for trying to take 3 in a lock with Aaron and losing his level 22 in the fight. He did obviously lose his ep to leech while in the lock, but that wasn't until toward the end of the log. I admire both sides for how they played this out. Nice kill for Aeldor, Thalus and Breeze.

I'm going to say this for what, the 3rd time? No one stayed to the end. Ravathir was blind and couldn't leave. From the log:

    Party say from Thalus: leech

Breeze reaches forward toward Ravathir and grabs him. Ravathir looks lifeless for a moment.

    ...

    Next round:

Ravathir grips his weapon with one hand.

Ravathir removes a big razor-sharp meat cleaver.

    You are already hunting Ravathir!

    HP:91 EP:24 ==SG==

    Aaron nocks a handcrafted arrow.

Aaron draws back on a bow.

    Ravathir misses someone.

He tried to heal, but was out of EP before he could do it. Thus he couldnt heal or leave. His mate couldn't leave either, since the key was with Ravathir. Watching your EP is also part of the game, as much as watching your HP, especially when you're fighting a necro. So please, stop giving props where it's not deserved.

Wow, 2 vs 3 and they rocked you, sure they died, because lack of focus, which i dunno, if i know Rav i coulda sworn hed be spamming Aaron to focus Breeze, but seriously. Aaron nearly killed Aeldor, and still could have even after Rav died, but im sure he just stopped trying all together and was ready to accept his death instead of spamming kill Aeldor. Either way, Imma have to go with Kozlodeov on this one and say props to the two that died, one fighting to the end when most would have ran specially at the cost of his death...and he had an innroom a few feat away so its not like he couldnt have. Great log overall, very nice read!

    You tell Ravathir: character separation

    Ravathir tells you: lol

There's a lot of stupid shit that Ravathir does and says that deserves ridicule and contempt, but for this log you gotta give him props for trying to lock a 3 on 2 at level 22, at which many stop leaving GH at least without a ton of healing and definitely don't PK. Oh and he didn't do anything bad in the last log either, he didn't exactly freak out, all he did was try and get his sword back from a level 1 trash alt who, by the MUDs definition of 'corpselooting' looted from him. So he tred to find a way to kill a level 1. So what? Please, keep our herkhate intact by legitimate examples, like Zaellyer and a couple others I saw.

Well it's not the first time he locks there. The last time I died. It was me and Cordox hunting Ravathir and Aryl camoed on Ravathir. The guards stopped Cordox and in the end I died after some fighting:/. I had Thalus this time, Cordox remained outside again but I wasn't counting on Breeze slipping in. Also, if Ravathir had looked at me the second time we hunted, he would've seen I had the key worn around my neck (it was in my pack before that. 2 v 2 would've been very interesting too:) Breeze had almost no eq so I took a lot of damage shielding him in spite of my ulmo but he did leech Ravathir. If it was only 2 of us maybe we would have focused properly too but with 3 of us, we just wanted Ravathir dead before he could escape and, well he almost killed me as a result. Or maybe we'd just have gotten pwned? Who knows. The original plan was 2 vs 2 though.
