there's no incentive to give any input in this game. you report a bug, it gets logged and people get nuked, instead of them fixing the shit to begin with. 'hey, we know about this bug, but instead of fixing it, let's log it and see how many people we can entrap.'
you submit an idea report, it either gets ignored, or implimented 6 months later, and if it does get put in, you get fucktards like draugluin taking credit for it as their idea.
why should i care enough to give any kind of input when i get jack shit out of it?
immortals respond to complaints on the comm with 'if you want to help, quit bitching and immort or submit idea/bug reports.'

I found an infinite gold bug once and reported it. Asked on the comm where an altar was in FH and got chewed out for wanting gold when I should do it for free. Got 180 gold or so from it! It was enough for me. Gold's too easy to come by in this game.
If people find and want to abuse an infinite-gold or infinite-exp bug, they're going to do that regardless of how high the reward is. They might just be a bit more discreet about who they show it to.
Decent people report bugs rather than abuse them regardless of reward.

I agree that something should be done with rewards on reporting bugs, but the fact is these guys are still abusing them. Even if they may be some of the most interesting/active/whatever guys on the mud (which they aren't) a nuke would still be necessary.

Exactly. Unless it's a bug that's harmful to you personally most people won't report it, even if they don't abuse it, because they want to play a game for fun and not spend their time filing reports.
Offer them a large chunk of gold to report it and they'll gladly take 5 minutes of their time to properly report it rather spend 60 minutes of their time grinding away at the same old shit they've had to spend fucking hours and hours of their life doing just to get a fucking character that can do more than kill chipmunks on that stupid game.
As opposed to the current 300 gold reward for reporting a major combat bug or an enormous systemic armoury bug (the reporting of which hurts you considerably more than 300 gold worth)
Hell, it would also cut down on a lot of work for Ainur because you'd have people out there activly looking for bugs. It would probably clean up every bug in the game in 6 months.
It's a shame Skype crashing caused this or it would have been a fun little kamakazi job by Brubaker.
It's also a shame that the mud seems to be losing most of it's active and more interesting personalities.
You know what would be a great insentive to stop people using bugs?
If the Admins offered a 10k reward to anyone who finds and then reports a bug.

But around 2 weeks later i saw him partying with Ravathir, and aryl again underestimated my wits and told me ravathir didn't know it was him...
