I had never been able to use it but i got killed by that sword that's why i know how awesome it was...
I never got to see long haradrim bone sword's original power, assuming it was nerfed since. The quest kicked my ass the first two times I tried it so I was sure the room was cursed and it was ages before I went back.

You can set your ainu's stats to whatever you want and your weapon stats to whatever you want... So... if you made a weapon for yourself, I'd imagine it'd be the stats on that.
Anywho, I get the impression that very very few people actually still 'play' on the MUD with the majority of their time, where 'playing' constitutes actively questing and improving your character/guild/clan/friends.

The trident's emotes are just as good as the one's from the Umbar prof quest imo.

I never liked much Thorondor's weapon's emotes. I usually find them kind of exagerated in one way or another. That's just my opinion, though.
What do you think? What makes a good weapon emote(s)?

Lobo, much as I respect you in general, a few observations:
Thorondor is (as far as I know) a maia, which means he probably doesn't have access to the global mud driver software type stuff which is apparently causing this problem. (Freezing mud sounds really unpleasant!)
Emotes are useful in newly coded weapons; quests (with quest rewards), along with bit reports are what I understand maiar do.
Ainur have to have a way to relax or their productivity and happiness will suffer; no matter how stressful a situation in any profession is, you can't begrudge someone their napping or taking a brief respite to get rid of some stress.
Thorondor is not _required_ to log on pretty much at all, either by an obligation to the mud (plenty of inactive ainur) or by compulsion (he's not a paid employee)... so the reality is he is choosing between not logging on and enjoying himself somewhere else, logging on and enjoying himself in arda, or logging on and doing gruntwork in arda. I'd rather he enjoy himself in arda, because it means that he's that much more invested in its success.
Narshock, I suspect the efficacy of that weapon was much more to do with the fact that Thorondor has ainu stats than the actual force of the weapon. I've seen an ainu with a wooden sword do 3500/hit.
