I like the crystal rod (immolated) (glowing) (enveloped in black lightning!) (in hands).
The staff is great. Right up there with other semi's like Bone Sword and the Wicked Looking Flail, but two-handed (and therefore better). The only semi I can think of that's better than this is the Jade Trident. For wizards though, obviously the trident doesn't compare.
Its not new, it was around when I was still actually killing things while logged in and for some time before that.
Yeah it is nasty... basically the best non unique weapon in the game.
