It's more like carelessness on Satyr's behalf. It doesnt take much to hunt off, he was probably more concerned with trying to kill Vouln before he met up with Menuss than he was watching for a lock attempt
I think the real skill involved getting a player like Satyr to hunt Volun to STS. I mean its no big secret that Volun and Menuss work together all the time so he had to see it coming and was probably even watching for it, but to get him to hunt into said lock with Menuss waiting is a nice display of playerkilling prowess.
Gman it's not the fact that you won that they are contesting. It's the fact that there was no skill in the log. Warrior V Assassin yeah any half way retarded warrior can beat an assassin in a lockup. Example you beat Satyr. I think that fits the subject perfectly.

I'd also like to point out the dead-pan response Mute provided with respect to 'breaking' the rules. Typical tactic for dealing with the public-awareness of blatant rule-breaking that somehow goes unnoticed by the Administration. Reminds me of the 'but random spreekilling all the ERs as the Black Hand legion is GOOD for the community' martyr bullshit. Then there is Amearn displaying he doesn't care by making random comments - he used to say 'hi' a lot during PKs, especially the ones where he ended up dying. Technical prowess = talent. In a game where killing someone else is not solely dependent on ability, but mechanics and chance - technical ability is the only independent variable that can be quantified. You know this, don't be coy!
Anyone can kill anyone else, anytime, due to the mechanics of the game. If you mean patterns overtime, then perhaps - but as it stands with a limited sample, you're saying that there is no such thing as talent.
Triggering huntbreaks is overrated. The only true gauge of talent is whether or not your target dies.

Ok fair enough. I understand your perspective, you definitely won the fights, and who gives a shit about editing. But I don't see any talent. The only profession that takes talent is an assassin that triggers breaks, or reverses PKs without a mapper. That isn't you. Good wins, no talent.
