Waste - Raqtor's client, along with a few other older assassin's clients, used to trigger huntbreaks by counting the number of rooms their targets moved in certain directions. I guarantee that is much more client automation in PK than you will witness these days. Not saying there is much skill left in the Ardan PK arena these days, but you're right about Duncan - I have never thought of patience as his strong suit.

BTW, as a tribute to the herk comeback, this time I'm turning off the auto-rater and manually rating this log a 1.

    Nice fight guys.

I'd normally rate it a five, but some people are rating it unfairly. Therefore I chose a six!

I disagree with your order, Aeldor -- Mello needed to be first because he was dealing out the most damage per round. Exhalev or Hellflame second since they've got leprosy which is helping you out. Ural is a maxed warrior and would be the hardest from a stats pov to take down.

But in principle I agree. Just gotta balance how easy they are to take down with how much damage they're doing to your party.

Daywalker: I am not saying there is anything bad or wrong about partying with whoever you want to kill whoever you want. I am just saying, that this was clearly just a pk log, with no rp involved. I actually enjoyed reading it and rated it high.

I disagree with the comment of Tryptophan.

Why do you people take everything as black or white?

What is wrong with a Free Race being angry at another Free Race to seek opportunity for a kill?

What is wrong with some ER partying with FRs to kill someone they don't like.

After all, even in the books good guys turned bad and then back to good. Its all a matter of what they feel in the current moment.

Should've focused Ural, Exhalev, Mello, Hellflame, Belkas. Of the whole party Belkas is tne one most afraid of death and takes most precautions and is probably the one most maxed. Should've killed the easiest first. 5 v 5 battles are awful spam anyway, merely typing 'kill anyone' is an achievement there. This fight could've had a better outcome.

Ural, your settings are awful but thanx for posting the log:)

On a side note, yes, it has nothing to do with RP. I don't know half of the good party, too many new alts in this game, but at least half of the members of the evil party have never read Tolkien. Like, you know - Tolkien, the guy who wrote the script for the LotR movie!

Tryptophan shouldn't be able to comment since she has alts that actually exist that can comment. Not sure if she knows anything about RP either.

Chelios was told about our engagement in mordor, but never asked to come. He obviously hunted Menuss and was not apart of our party. 'other than having a common enemy.'

    As for Impaler.

Maybe Ural thinks that the battle was epic considering the exchange of 2 uniques, the deaths of one evil (who was level 18), and the deaths of 2 frees (who were level 22+ and level 21+).

Not sure why this was called RP. It was clearly evils trying to rid mordor of frees, which turned into an attempted bang backhunt.

Yet, by the wrath of Sauron, the free were slaughtered and sent fleeing from our lands with their tails between their legs.

Why do you call it epic battle? Epic battle is when something worth remembering happens, epic battle was when a player was first to solo Mordor gates, epic battle was when 2 fought 5 and won, epic battle is then when something unusual, interessing, exciting happens. So if you would be that nice to don't call this 'battle' epic. i would presuade this. As to log, it would be hell lot interesing if both parties picked their targets better.

'Excellent Roleplaying always deserves a good rating'

Like Ansgar pointed out, this can't be called excellent roleplaying because it can't be called roleplaying at all. Nobody in the entire log did anything to distinguish their character from their typist. That said, it IS a decent pk log, and shouldn't be rated on stupid comments. Nalthic was right about the focussing, also terrible running around on Morgul Road on Aether's part.

    Fair enough:)

And the evil races successfully drive the scum out of mordor once again. It would be a shame to see this log get rated low because someone doesnt like the people in it. Excellent roleplaying always deserves a good rating.

Very nice from both sides, shame Mello dropped so fast. Good coordination and recovery on the ER side, good planning on the Meg side. More battles like this in the future please!
