My core point Lucky is that Impaler DIDN'T know about the handicap. Therefore analysing any of my arguments without accepting that first premise is an exercise in futility.

Wrong, Myrd. Using words like 'homo' and 'retard' etc to people you know don't fit those standards is different, at least to me. Using it as a direct insult to the people who fit those descriptions is about as hateful as you can get.
I'd maintain these sentiments even if Impaler wasn't my friend. I think what he did was stupid, but the fact that the person he insulted happened to have a disability doesn't make it inherently any worse.

Myrddin is right, Daywalker isn't. His comp lags, he had keys, he knew he could draw them, he didn't expect lag.
His healing alias didn't work because he only has one hand and for some reason didn't adjust them accordingly.
He doesn't think. He sucks.
I dunno, they can't hunt. Following them toward an impending lockup isn't bad if he knows they don't have anyone nearby waiting to hunt him. Maybe he'll get some lucky hits and kill someone.
Of course, the expectation is that he'd hunt off when they got close to Narchost, but I suppose he was lagging at that point.
After Anarsul hit his healing and was good shape with a warrior shielding, Impaler shaped him. I want to know what Impaler was thinking, not hunting off immediately at that point :P I mean, what's the _best_ that could happen there?
