Taking an average: (Value 1 + Value 2) / 2.
(1 + 6) / 2 = 3.5

Actually, the average of 6 numbers would be 3.5 and to counter weight a 1 you would need to rate a 6 to make 3.5. Which is exactly what the log is rated at the time of this comment. There are three 1's, three 6's, and a 3 and 4.
You can trade the 3 and 4, for a 6 and a 1.
