I had this problem when I first started posting logs. I'm not sure what caused it, but some IT whizzkid was somehow able to stop it from happening again. Always liked that quest, too. :)

Jesus Hirgail, you took this thread way too seriously. And noone here is questioning whether he's blind or whether he's good at mudding. People were just making fun of the extra line and 'gap' comments. :)

Hmm, alright, i think some of you should check this link out.

It doesn't show me using the screenreader, but it has some text in it that is read allowed by a screenreader and this can maybe give you an idea of how this works.

And btw, proof of that i am blind.

I was making a deal about him being able to differentiate between there being gaps and not, I don't give a shit whether he can play.

Really? You guys still make a big deal about someone using a screen reader to play? It's nothing. After this much time playing using the screen reader would be as easy for him to do as it would be for us to read it. The people I work with that use it are able to scan and skim text in exactly the same way we can when reading it and just as quickly.

What I wonder is how he is able to type some of these peoples' names correctly. What would happen if a Zxbmptrql attacked him?

No, when i read the log, i hear this.

A tall elf reclines here upon the grass, enjoying the feast and

    Blank

relaxing in the warm glow of friends. He has a cup of wine in one hand

    Blank

and a loaf of bread in the other, and alternately sips and eats. He

    Blank

has a languid form, and his bulky tunic reveals the armour beneath. His

    Blank

bright gleaming eyes betray the fact that he is aware of all that

    Blank

transpires here, and he would be good counsel for the days to come.

    Blank.

    And so on.

lol - enthralled with her GAP?

anyways no - he said it's not like that when he plays, so his screenreader must say 'enthralled with her THERE IS NO GAP HERE beauty'

So what, he's listening and hears this?

' You dance across the clearing once again, enthralled with her

    GAP

beauty. She leans up against you, and whispers: Come with me.

Hehehe, I don't know how many times i think i have said this.

But when i play the game, there is not a blank line between everything, i don't know why the heck it does that.

  • Author
    Myrddin [legacy]

Yes because I'm sure his screenreader can't read unless there's a gap between every line.

I believe he has that set that way so he can actually play the game, so he can't be faulted for it.
