The comm was quiet because everybody gets banned for having an opinion different than Mathias.
Yeah, during the 36 minutes I was online last night, there were a total of 5 comms, 2 by me. The newbie comm was more live with 6 while I was online maybe a few more because we were talking about cool changes coming up soon. And yes, it only took 2 comms to cover that.
btw anybody that's like uber good at this game that can tell me how to use that 'who' shit? because if i can figure it out im totally sure that there is like 130 dudes on at all times instead of the 4 people that talk on the comm which is the amount that i am aware of
tevildo was right. i was silly to make all of my judgements on how active the comm was rather than using complicated commands like who to see that nobody plays the game. sorry guys
It's not a matter of not interacting. There's more to the MUD than PvP. Most people avoid the comm and log site because of the type of people that frequent these places.

I'm not saying we are the only players on the game, we are just the coolest players on the game. :)
This is going to sound preachy, but these arguments are getting a bit ridiculous. The whole 'nobody plays the game but us' thing is mistaken at best, harmful at worst. There are lots of people who simply don't log on every day, don't babble on the comm, don't comment here, and don't engage in PvP. Those who do are actually a minority. A loud, influential minority, yes, but hardly the entire picture.
Although at that point in time I guess I did have a tendency to do random flaming just for the sake of it
