It just occurred to me that when I was my most active, in a given day I would probably log on from residence, then go to class, log on from there, maybe go to a friend's place (There was this one guy who would keep inviting me over, and any time I'd show up -- I could only make up excuses for so long -- he'd just sit there playing 1-player computer and xbox games) and log on from there, and so on. Every time I changed routers on campus I think I changed IP address, and I certainly changed IP addresses between locations (Different network for residence vs. on campus vs. friend's place), so that means I would have been contributing not less than three and as many as five or six distinct IP addresses per day, even if I was only logging on one char. The average person, I think, logs on from both home and school/work, with the exceptions to that rule being countered out by those who log on from more than two IP addresses in a day. So I think that even if we _did_ accept his stat of 1000 distinct IP addresses per day, that can't possibly reflect more than 500 distinct typists, and probably reflects a smaller number than that.
This is not a meme. Mathias is not crazier than Glenn Beck. There are almost 1000 unique logins a day, people. Get with the program, T2T is motherfuckin' booming.
I honestly think that joke is the funniest meme to which I've been exposed on T2T, beating out Obair, Omnomnom and Quiauh. Does this mean I have bad taste? Perhaps. Does this mean I'm a bad person? Probably. But it means that every few days when it's reiterated I get to laugh a bunch, so I'm happy ;)

Not sure what you're talking about, but with 5000 active characters, there's bound to be 121 masters degrees. Particularly if Exhalev or Marthaon have a masters.
I think it's worth pointing out that that's 121 responses that say masters degree -- so if one person had a masters and had 121 alts there could be only one with a masters.
Not hard to believe seeing as a lot of people who play here were/are college students and it is a general rule that you're somewhat dorkish if you're playing here at all.
