The day Pounder shuts the fuck up about TNT, it'll be because he's died and his heaven is sitting at work in front of his computer, playing TNT. Give it a fucking rest already.
To fill in some information for you, yes, the merge was why I was reinstated but so was the campaign to air out all the laundry on my website. Aule was also the main factor in the unification and sadly he gave up on the place knowing it's good days are long gone. However, the true reason the merge was performed was because valinor (or the 'legit' mud) was absolutely *terrified* because they could do NOTHING about the copy (because it was actually obtained legally and would be impossible to prove it wasn't being used for anything but testing purposes and they would have to prove they set such restrictions and rights to terminate use at time of distribution) and because it was drawing people very steadily and was gaining popularity in a way the mud drew in the early days when it hit it's boom stage (probably actually faster but I don't have the memory to recall such details). Granted they had to first remove all the cheaters from it and clean up a few things, they started implementing some amazing things almost immediately and fixed things that should have been placed back in the game even now a LONG time ago. But yeah, this nuke and TNT were like seriously the best Christmas present ever (you probably heard me say that before).
Reading this log is interesting, at this point, I had basically created an alt, gave some instructions/requests to players but aside from that I was actually enjoying the new free time because I don't remember what but I had found something else to do (might have been diablo2 actually). I later requested KN be disbanded (which I regret because some people liked being in it) but that was much later when I went inactive for over 2years.
Finally, it's sad to see Bakal. Its awesome to see some of the old names and some of the hilarity of this log is stellar. Crusaderr making obair jokes caught me by surprise, but the best part of this log: Razor slaps his hand on his side rtmar.

The most frustrating thing about Draugluin was that he genuinely believed he was doing the right thing. Even as his administration blundered from one mistake to the next, effectively destroying the MUD, he remained adamant that it was all for the greater good. It's impossible to reason or argue with people like that, and it didn't help that he was surrounded by spinless yes-men. He was a lot of fun as a mortal, and in his early Valinor days, but his fall from grace was both frustrating and slightly sad to watch.
I forgot until just now how badly Draugluin deserves to get the shit kicked out of him irl. The guy was an rl failure who got some e-power and used it to bully people and tyrant. Man, I fucking hated that guy.

Esker was also reinstated. Although I had nothing to do with the stolen MUD, Pallasch petitioned Draugluin on my behalf at around the same time and he relented.

Yes. This log can't have been more than a month or two before the 'schism' occured. Pounder, whilst still nuked on the 'main' MUD, was reinstated on Castamir's and championing it to all and sundry. Although I can't remember the exact details, it seems logical to assume that the 'reunification' of the two seperate games was what got him reinstated.
I like the comment from Draugluin. It was around that time that Castamir got his copy of the MUD online, wasn't it?
