In addition to being grossly unthematic, the present system is open to abuse. The circumstances surrounding it were and remain the subject of some speculation, and that sort of commentary tends to spill over onto the comm. Some of the proposed reasons were believable, others less so. The comment I made was an obvious satire of some of the more outlandish proposed reasons behind Pounder's deletion, and a thinly veiled mockery of the people who were doing their best to depict him as a martyr. It wasn't the sort of comment that I felt deserved a nuke, especially on a character with only one warning.
