If you're unwanted here (see definition: douglas) it's typically your own fault. The admins don't owe you anything. There's no law that says they have to be fair. Get over it. Find something else to entertain you, like harassing other morons on the log page.

You put your lips to the potion and gulp it all down.

You feel more aware of the tactics of battle.

    HP:230 EP:169>

You remove a mighty war horn.

    HP:230 EP:169>

You raise the horn to your lips and blow a single mighty

You feel strong, mighty and full of power! Go ahead, break

    skulls -- headbutt someone!

    HP:230 EP:129>

You put the war horn around your neck.

    Someone downs a potion.

Someone removes a mighty war horn.

Someone raises a horn to his lips and blows a mighty note.

Someone wears a mighty war horn.

Someone chokes down the black liquid, and screams in rage!

    Someone wields his twilight dagger.

    Someone gets a 'man-catcher' pole-arm from a spear sheath.

Someone grips their weapon with two hands.

    Someone wields his man-catcher.

    Do: Commands completed.

You now stand on the inner side of the Morannon. The desolate land

of Mordor spreads around you, and you sense evil everywhere. To your

east and west lie Carchost and Narchost, the horrid Towers of the Teeth.

This dark land seems dangerous and tricky and despite the lonely feeling

you know that you are not alone. Occasionally you hear sounds coming

    from

the towers, and you feel that there are sentinels nearby...

The sky is black and the stars shine down brightly.

    The sky is brilliantly clear.

The only obvious exits are east and south.

Tireless I was nuked for calling Draugluin a douchebag, and Argos was nuked for saying 'Draugluin has such thin skin, if you look at him wrong he'll bleed,' and neither were reinstated, as long as we're talking about 'nuked for insulting an Ainu' stories.

Akhazir, the different is that when there were no PVP flags, Felk would think twice before saying something or doing something, because he knows he WILL get killed for it.

There were those like Aether that still kept doing stupid things and got killed all the time, but thats normal. Now everyone and their cow play 'omg im so powerful, i quest with pvp off', and there is nothing you can do.

The game has turned into WoW, where you need to go to battlegrounds to actually have some fight.

I am not saying WoW is a bad game, its probably the best ever, considering the resources put into it and the money spent daily to support and improve it. But I am amazed how ainur took the ONLY STUPID THING in WoW, being not be able to kill anyone anywhere at any time, and they took NOTHING from all the good stuff coded there.

So mud is a nice place to chill after work or something, but will get boring to more people exponentially. See, Ainur think the pvp flags are actually working and keeping activity up, thats because they can't see further than their nose. The activity is back due to a group of wimpy individuals now being able to actually play, when the pvp players cant harm them. Soon the hype will be over and they will just get bored and go inactive or change games, cause that's what people with no pvp do.

I wonder if we all pay $20 per month to play the mud, will ainur finally hire someone with brains to pull the game into the correct direction.

Also, I've been reading the logs and comms for a long time now and I'm not sure what's actually different here.

'or just being a herk, there is not much you can do about it'

In those cases the ignore feature will probably do wonders for your anger problem.

This isn't a school playground where you have to respond to every little insult. Nobody cares but you and the person you were insulted by. Anyway, if you respond it'll just continue. Better to just let it go.

Douglas lol :) Yeah, I agree its hilarious when you threaten someone IRL, cause I would love to see someone actually try to do it :) They will get back to their home land naked, robbed, beaten and raped.

Anyways, my point was, with PVP off, when someone pisses you off, being by saying something stupid, or just being a herk, there is not much you can do about it, but either swear back or try to screw with their quests.

This turns the mud from a place where you fight for honor to a place where you pussy curse each other and try some low life tricks.

THAT is what pisses me off. I dont give a shit that some kid decided to sound tough behind his mother's PC.

I don't agree with people getting nuked for real life threats or for wishing somebody would die. There's been people nuked in the past for it but that doesn't mean it should continue. There's also good advice in that log and I'm thinking it won't be followed.

like the line 'you're encouraged to place Felk on ignore and stop interacting with him if you don't like what he's saying to you.' I received a warning from Castamir for 'sending offensive tells' after I told Nasira that her mustache was looking lovely today. I guess you need more friends in high places, Daywalker.
