    The chamber is dark and its ceiling low.  The walls, made of once
plain grey rocks, are now black with soot and filth.  In the middle of
the room stands a long slab of rock with hard, iron fetters on it.  A
black furnace has been built into the north wall.  Next to it is a pile
of wood.  The south side of the chamber has no wall, but only a grating
with thick iron bars and a similarly grated, iron door in it.  The
chamber smells of burnt flesh.
The south door is locked.
