People have been complaining about different professions sucking and not being as good at they once were for 15 years. It's time to give nostalgia a rest and realize they were always bad.
It makes me :( because, apparently, Deathrob is one of the most competant pker chasing Cubans currently.
Mudsex aside, this log makes me :'( because it contains a GV trying to pk a VC (and, at that, failing horribly even though it should be a sure kill).

Yes assassin now are a shit, thanks god that mordor is like bree and you can quest good stuff there. :P
It's the black steel longsword from BD, it's a pretty decent weapon, not great (worse than fang).
It may have been in poor condition, hard to tell. I assume from the description, Rorin was wearing radiant set which is pretty damn nice armour, reducing the damage even more.
The other log was using the superb wall shield from MT, which is a half decent shield but it degrades very fast, so it may not have been in that great condition, and I don't know what armour he was wearing.
Is it just me or is the backstab system completely ruined? This stab (not sure what weapon but i guess it's a high end one) did 16dmg on first hit. The log above with the TW-dagger that everyone who got access to it uses did 104dmg on the stab. Assassins are very weak in battle (i don't count boosters) and with this interesting system they have now, it's only the assassins that either can quest every booster and best weapons or have access to a guild that provides the items that can PK. And yes i know, flags already killed pvp but it is kinda sad that it is pretty much impossible for new players to learn and test the assassin profession.
