To sum up all this stuff for people just getting here, Tuareg and Durkin dont like each very much. Oh and logs of 3-4-5 people killing one person aren't useless. They prove that you can get some friends together and go kill someone. Yes, it doesn't take much skill, but it will kill you (most of the time).

People have been posting logs on websites like horid and carms or here for years, I have enjoyed reading pkill or theft logs of any sort since I started playing here and this is what the site is for, to showcase them. If all you do is use this forum to whine, complain or talk shit about about kills or other players just log on the mud and try to do it there because I for one am sick of hearing idiots blabber on here as if anyone gives a fuck about there opinion.

I see I didn't make much sense in my last post but the point is that I don't think this log was to make ppl afraid of the pk'ers (as a reaction on what Trempk said). I just thought of my own reason of posting my logs - simply because it's fun, and that's why I think it was posted but it doesn't realy matter, and I may be wrong of course. I know my logs are downright crap most (perhaps all) of the time but it's still realy fun to post. It just struck me.

Regarding logs, quality of logs, and the purpose behind logs: I guess everyone comes here for different reasons. It's become apparent that a lot of you come here in hopes of seeing marvellous feats and funny things. That's all well and good, I guess. Personally, I come here as a way of keeping up on what's happening in Arda. Reading logs and the comments associated with them generally tells me who's doing what in Arda. IE, I know what's going on between Udungul and BkD right now, and 95% of anything I know is from reading logs here. I come here to stay informed, and if there's an 'amazing' log occasionally, then that's all the better...but you can't expect everything to be amazing. The whole point of using the word 'amazing' is to show that it's extraordinary...and what's extraordinary if you don't have the ordinary, too?
Actually, I re-read Hrakno's post, and it did make sense. Not only that, but I also didn't object to it in any way...weird, huh? Go Hrakno.
Maybe I'm just a little off because I woke up about 15 minutes ago, but I don't know what the hell Hrakno just said, so I'm not going to say anything to him in return.
As for Gazza, how about minding your own fucking business? Maybe you should stop running your mouth and start looking back through the log archive, where you'll find (a) a log of Nichodemus trying to kill Holic, and (b) a log of Gothwin hunting Holic while Shagrath killed him. And though it wasn't posted, Skenda/Gothwin/Montar killed Taidhbhse and took our Captain's Cutlass one uptime. Ailin told Anathema that we'd leave them alone if she'd apologize to Taidhbhse and Holic and agree not to attack us anymore. She _refused_ to make 2 simple apologies, so we're killing them until she does.

I know that its fun to post logs even if your kill isn't a cool one, i don't know why realy, and I don't think its because you want to boast. I just think thats a few people like Spartan and Holic for example (erm and a large bunch of others + prev. players Durkin etc), who realy want to show of and get credits/respect for being good at pk'ing.
Anyway I don't think that's the case with this log. They must understand that hardly killing anyone with 3 guys wount make them respected heh and I realy don't think they care. I know for instance my pk'logs are just that. Judging from the competition you know that even if you would seriously start pk'ing to become good at it, you wouldn't match the skills of those who dedicate their RL to master it. Such as Baklen, and others. But if only they were to post it would be a boring page so i think i withdraw all my comments about other ppls logs.

It occured to me a while ago that people don't post logs up here to show their skill 99.9% of the time, but rather to boost their ego and mainly just to boast that they had a part in killing someone. Like: 'Hey, I killed another player. Don't fuck with me, I'm cool and can kill you (If you suck or I have a few people).' This isnt in reference to this log, or any specific log or players, mind you.

Bah...some of the logs aren't PK. Like that one where the...three? Four? People tried killing Legolas and Gimli, and all...that was pretty funny. And that log of the ice staff where he went from...what. 230 HP to 56 in two rounds? I mean, good god. That was fucking hilarious...I just wish there was really something ~notable~ about every log. That'd be enough to shut me up...one of these times, I need to post a log of one of my many arrests. One that'll be a good chase and very close...and, hopefully, a reward over 200 gold. *snicker*

Yeah. For fuck's sake, Theodrek, go start up the 'Squirrel-Fighting Log Archive' or something. I'm very sorry that the log didn't take an unexpected turn, and I'm sorry that Gothwin didn't lead us to an exciting setup or something. And I'm sure that when YOU go to fight people, Theodrek, you use the worst weapons available to you...because that makes it all the more fun! Maybe YOU should become an assassin, or even just an occasional pkiller, and then you can spread joy to the log archive by making logs that are fun and keep people on the edge of their seats. In the meantime, get to work on that squirrel site.

*sigh* These PK logs are getting really...really...what's that word I'm looking for. Good? No...exciting? No...ah. Boring. Everytime it's the same thing. 'Oh, look at this. I got two people in may party and we all attacked a person until he/she died. We're the best, ha ha ha, mwa ha ha.' If it was a ~CLOSE~ one on one PK...yeah, I think I'd want to read it. But you have to use all kinds of uniques and potions. Well, I must say...for one, I really am impressed...but I think I'll go back to watching some squirrels fight in the back yard. I think it'd be more exciting.
Heheh. If you're wondering why I was so late to attack, it's because I wasn't actually planning on attacking, I just wanted to watch. A few rounds into it, I got worried that she would make it, so I backstabbed...for all the good it did. A massacre, a hit, and a hit hard...boy did THAT help. :P
