When I go for RP combat, I always wield The Silvarin or at least have someone else wield it.
Are you trying to say that we should not use uniques when it comes to RP? Next time, try to kill Galadriel for her vials. I personally does not enjoy killing her since she will mostly strip us naked, and make us blind, not to mention damn spam. My respect to whoever enjoy killing her. :D
One last thing, maybe all of this 'moral' ppl should make a wizard and see how they works, I am not talking about making alt, but just to see every nick of them.

Yeah, thats why I humor the roleplay when I'm in Edoras, but in fact if I was in roleplay mode all the time and an Amruin attacked me, I would take it as a personal attack upon myself and kill them (at least once). But then again this isn't really feasible or cheap. And no I wouldn't hunt in rp combat and I would type stop first. Then I'd kill you. But since they game currently isn't like this, I'll just get beat up by some random amruin thugs and run off and go hide in my guildhall.

True, if they keep hunting and hunting, its annoying, but that a different issue. Once you loose your hunter, fighting should stop untill they or you type kill again.
Your right Cerol, pK can be a PART of RP but it is not the sole point of RP nor should it ever be. There really isn't much theme left in this game. Everyday I see something that shows me the game is very very far from a Tolkien world and is leaning more and more to making evil players more powerfull and available to pK freely.
Now before you all go off screaming about what a moronic dumbass prick...take a minute or ten (for you slow people) and think about it...
You kill Galadriel and get her vials, like every elf in CG wouldn't come running to stop you. Is there a way to get these vials from her without killing her, no there isn't. Anyone that chooses to RP a 'good' character will never get these vials unless some chance of luck smiles upon them.
You all talk about how skilled and elite of players who is, who is...yet which of you will go into combat, risking death, with nothing at your side but a couple stews, maybe a phial or vial and normal skills?
See how tough you are without a MELS, Whip, Black Sword, DAKS or anyother unique weapon, a good old caparpace, dws, ddm, unaltered skills and or stats...then brag all you want.
I have never gone into RP combat with altered skills, not once. You can call me stupid if you wish but how much better than me are you if you need to alter your stats and use special weapons/armours to beat me?

That's all well and good, but Havok's use of the word nigga definitely detracted from his RP value. As many will tell you RP is not just about combat. You have to talk the talk as well :P
RP and PK can be the same thing, I think Toto got it all covered in his post...
The difficult part is that one says dont use special attacks when your opponent is DLSG or ND and others just do that. But at least the next time I will fireball on Toto when he is ND, in RP combat! :)

*rolls his eyes* Your version of RP is all good and well for you who are afraid to fight for your lives. If you attack Balforth, I'm going to protect him with everything i've got. I'm not SoU, and even if I was, I don't agree with the set 'RP Rules' If your attacking my brother, I'm going to TRY and kill you. Just like if you attack me, I am going to FIRST, Defend myself, then, if I can.. Take the offensive. This is just what I did. Melanna attacked me in defense, and in RP, and that is fine. I defended myself, saw no harm in me putting forth the effort, and she died. If you are too scared or unskilled to defend your home, then maybe you shouldn't. There are Amruin who do it all the time.. just let their town go to ruins. Then there are those like Rhoads and Paladinz and Theodrek and a few others.. Sorry if I left your name out.. who will almost always RP. My way of looking at it is, I am in Caras for a purpose.. To kill.. Like if I was an assassin.. If I was trying to kill your wife, or husband as it may be.. you would try and protect her/him with your lives from me. And I would continue to try and kill her, and most likely you. *shrug* Just my way of looking at it. I killed her yes, but I did leave her stuff there and I apologized. *shrug* If you can't handle the heat, don't light the stove.

The log does look like you were out to kill her from the beginning. If you hadn't taken her head or killed her with a fireball, I wouldn't even think that it was intentional, however...
ok, didnt read the log carefully enough, and now i'm not so sure whether he did set out to kill her or not :-p
*blink* It doesn't look like Toto set out to kill Melanna here. Just cos he cast fireballs at her doesn't mean he's after her head. He didn't cast that last fireball at Melanna specifically.
It wasn't his fault, Melanna was ND, left up to avoid getting hit by a fireball, then she entered in the third round of him casting one at the elf scout, got hit with it and died. Melanna is just a moron and has nobody to blame but herself :P
