First of all, I don't believe there was any client-trigger hunt involved in this, it was more than likely just a silly attempt to cover something up. Second, I am getting a little tired of these doctored logs (unless the purpose is clearly a parody), so I might remove them without further warning in the future.

I checked this at home on my TMI-2 MudOS: you can't trigger-hunt someone who uses aliases (or even travelto) even at ping 0.

Not worth a log.. but it seems as you already have half of the log posted here, and I guess I'm worth the fine and destorying somewhat of your records with attempted murders and muders with a alt.

    You hit Rakanishu very hard.

    Rakanishu leaves east.

    Triggered! doing: hunt rakanishu

    You follow Rakanishu east.

    A steamy bathhouse(w)

    Rakanishu the dwarf Accomplice (Moral)

    Cool dwarf enters.

    You are already hunting Rakanishu!

    HP:200 EP:131

Cool dwarf brutally plunges the blade into Rakanishu.

    Triggered! doing: hunt rakanishu

    Rakanishu has died.

Think twice before attacking her the next time.If you come to the same conclusion, think more..and so on:P

Btw, we can't have taken off more than 130HP..I was thinking he was a level 18 though:P Damn edited logs:PP His HP were 220, blah:P

The bottom line is that you can't trigger hunt someone that fast. If Melissa was running by hand, that'd be one thing, but a client can't beat a 'do' command. Period. :P

If it's NOT universal, then whoever coded the client is a dumb bastard. You should be able to use %anythingYouDamnWellPlease. It's just a placeholder. Although... now that I look at it more, Raqtor seems to be right. ;) This technique is definitely possible, but the way he has it triggered, it's either a fake or... no, it is fake. The -%1 wouldn't have followed Melissa exclusively.. it would've followed ANYONE that left in any direction (i.e. right after he sets it and Brockhurst leaves west). And yeah, it wouldn't have changed 'east' to 'e', etc, etc... I don't look at these things close enough... Bah.. time to sleep, Melfice!

Hmm.. not true I'm recoded my client so it looks something like that..

    (+%<value> <doing> -$<value>)

but what i dont understand is.. that bah bah leaves doing direction, did you set up another trigger to break that down also.. if so, lol that was a waste. of coding.

I think we should talk, I have a couple questions on your client.

It's all done client-side... and in fact, it's very easy to do. Although I question his ability to code since he used '-%1' as the first passed variable. Bad, bad coding ethic! Should've just used %1 and %2.

That just isn't right .. ?? trying to hide you are an assassin by editing the log ? .. to make a trigger like that you would have to have a crazy low ping .. and somehow I don't see that possible with the laggy connection the server has at the moment.

Also your trigger is kinda smart eh ? leaves %1 .. and when she leaves north you do n .. pretty smart how it automaticly converts noth to n ..

But hey you prolly fooled some people with that ;-)
