Minding my own business, trying to stock up some flasks, studying for the final, debugging some programs, then this 3 strangers rushed to the room and start fighting to get a piece of my flesh.
I have no problem about using aliases and stuff like that. I use a couple myself. But having a program asking you to select a huntbreak, doing the break for you, checking to see if it was successful, checking to see if you have enough ep, etc, is pretty ludicrious. Oh and fighting FRA isn't very pragmatic, but killing random VCs that have no skill at all just gets boring

the phrases 'n00b' and 'l33t' is already used long before Counter-Strike released. I played CS far before it got released for public, and if you see, there are some words from old school hacking is used by the creators of the maps.

I don't call my self a programmer, but I am willing to learn. And why do I need to remember all those mud related stuff if I no more interest in the game so much? I wrote up 5 books about MUD related stuff and I wrote this directly from my mind couple years ago, ask around, some ppl actually know about those books.
And I believe most of us used bot before. And this program is customized to work only when attacker is not in friend/guildmates list.
So if I got attacked by an enemy, then it will run the stuff. *shrug* If someone make zmud play for him/her, then I think it is smart, you have to figure lots of stuff to make it works, not just a simple variables/triggers.

Is it just me that seems Newcomer is overdoing it, if he really has made variables and triggers like that. I thought it more looked like a lame edited log, and if you really have zmud do that for you Newcomer, then that is botting, what happens if you stand somewhere and afk for a few minutes, and that stuff goes off, imho then its botting.....
anyhow way not worth the time it takes to fix it to work flawless, and lame for you if you cant remember your own huntbreak aliases, and have to have there names come up on the screen.......
Some people grow with experience from being a newbie, some people make zmud do all the stuff they cant keep in there head...

I find it odd that your still talking here Azmodan. For the record, not everyone else on the mud transfers gold between alts, not everyone gets nuked (not to mention for cheating). I know plenty of players that don't cheat at all, that report a bug it they think they found one when the find it.
and if the entire mud does swap gold between their alts and it happens everyday, than you must be the super-loser of all time to get caught at it when the rest of the mud hasn't.

Jas, there is something like break and pause in the code, what ever you typed in the middle of the run will be overwriten, like the drink flask, it is my input, it does not included in the huntbreak stuff.

Free's even better not that I could use it, since I don't know shit about the game since all I do is idle in the mc tower and never leave it. That's how I got my character old, sitting in that tower idling away.
Well.. Tarn, to be able to code this crap, the first thing you need to do and to know is your huntbreaks, and you have to know the dirs to some place outhand todo the loop. And basically if you don't know shit about this game, you won't be able to make such a program. I think some of you programmer out there know what I am talking about :P Hell.. my major is business, nothing related with comp :P
Someone told me to make it commercial and sell it, I might make it commercial and free for download if it got perfected, I just found a bug for it.

I thought I was ahead of the game when I got my status window in zMUD working. Got my HP, EP, gold, total gold, exp, and encumberance. *whee*

Actually the program is made specialy for huntbreaks, I just finish doing it like 2 days ago, so far, haven't meet any bugs with it yet.
If I got attacked by other ppl rather than those in friend list / guildmate list, then it will switch on the PK stuff, it will ask me to input location, and then it will show up some HBs near there, what is the alias for it, how many rooms it takes, how many seconds it takes, and something that is not show up in the log, is how many doses flasks i have.
And when the HB alias is done, it will check the status, failed or done, if failed, it will auto-check my current location and then output the nearest HBs from that place again and so on, if the HB is done, then it will doing back loop back to where the HB start. And in this log, it come back to Cirdan and loot 150 gp from his corpse. But sometimes you have low on ep and can't run around too much, so it will check the EP status and check how much rooms it takes to reach that place, if <= something then it will not be fired up.

That's pretty impressive. How useful is it though? If I understand it properly, your HB system selects a huntbreak you can then activate with an alias, or a trigger, when you reach the post. Does this have any large advantage over series of aliases? For example, when I wish to break in bywayer, I type something like: by_check. What exactly does your external program do? I've worked with the tin-tin scripting engine that comes with zMud, and I haven't really seen the need for anything else.

Well... as you can see, there are many HBs output for me to choose, but it was Serex, I figured out he sure knows what is the triggers for those HBs that is around havens-bywater area. So hell, I just choose one that he might not remember what to trigger and it works :P

Newcomer is nothing more than a highly advanced bot system running on language recognition and a poorly-written grammar program.
I don't use that external status window anymore .. I use zMUD's build in thing.

Only think I made external from zMUD was a little funny status window with silly info like HP/EP bars and gold exp . stuff like that .. what I have in hands .. I made it in Visual studio.
But its useless .. zMUD can do everything by itself and zMUD's own status window and stuff can be docked to look real smooth.
zMUD can do it all .. it even has a built in database system .. So I have never needed anything external.
now i wouldn't call that the nearest huntbreak ;9
