I was paid by Udungul when I hunted/killed for them. Also, I'm not going to kill someone that 1. pays me, and 2. their enemies are my enemies

Tell me, though - is that their theme? Do you honestly think the Durms would side with KoDA/Amruin/VC/whoever if they contracted more?

I personally don't care either way since I continue to have no interest in guilds. I also understand that the assassination industry isn't realistically going to make you 'impartial' in many ways.

But at the same time, a few of the morally-aligned guilds have no-contract policies. Hell, KoDA doesn't even allow assassins in their guild. So why should they have less of a chance to work with the Durms, who 'thematically' don't have an alignment, when they *do* need a kill as opposed to guilds who constantly place contracts (whether out of real enmity or simply to lower fines for guild wars)? And simply because they aren't able to place contracts? Would a Durm take a high-priced contract on someone they were in an 'alliance' with?

So basicaly what you are saying is, Udungul, SoU and CoU cant kill enemys themself..they have to pay/allie with durms to do it for them? :p

Melfice, lets say youre an impartial assassin who does a lot of profitable business with a few clients. Now an contract comes in for you to kill that client. Do you take the contract? Or do you refuse it and continue the profitable relationship for years to come?

Same situation applies with the durms and Udungul, SoU, CoU.

I think what they're trying to say is that Durms shouldn't HAVE enemies in the first place. If they were really an 'impartial' guild, that is. Yeah, you're going to make enemies by killing people (obviously), but they shouldn't get themselves into 'alliances' with a group of people they might possibly be killing if a contract was put up.

We are allied with durms because they help us kill our enemies. They are allied with us because we compensate them, and help them kill their enemies. If you have problems understanding that, go back to third grade where you belong.

Durmanhoth is supposed to be impartial to everyone, and should be able to be hired by anyone. They should also be able to be hired in a war. So they don't really take sides, just take the biggest offer.
