ok, hrm,old log. kind of interesting/funny i guess. short too :) i killed an npc in archet as he killed me? anyway i had 0 hp and when my kill when bleeding trigger kicked in it said i was already dead....but then my hp starts rising :/
You're not dead as long as you're not a ghost. And even if you're on negatives, you still got two entire seconds to act. I personally remember eating two ears with -46hp :)
With 0 hp you're not dead at all. The message you got maybe was/is some bug. To die you must have negative health points. And sometimes you may survive with -1 hit point if before you go to -2 hp one hp kicks in and you become with 0 hp.
Shit, I've been at 0hp before but its never thought that i was dead...
