The story so far:
- Leandor and a random anonymous figure try to fulfill Dwain's contract.

- Dwain and Sammy attempt me at Grima the contractor.  I try to do something
  nasty at Osgiliath, but unfortunately Sammy's true align is demonic :(

- I hunt Sammy a bit around Esgaroth.

- Sammy hides on the grid in the middle of Mirkwood.  I use directional
  finds to locate him; he double-breaks at Thrands gates.

- both Sammy and Dwain are on MT3.  Suspecting a lockup, I take my pet
  warrior with me, just in case...

are of all different types of rock -- marble, granite, and a good number
of other types you can't identify.  You think that working here would
probably be very harsh, but from what you have seen a number of the
workers seem to be well paid.
