    As you step into this clearing, you can smell the rich, musty
odor of the Limlight River and hear the beating blades of the waterwheel.  
Dark green, decorative ivy covers a wooden staircase that ascends to the 
second floor entrance.  This courtyard is enclosed to all sides; the
river flows to the south, the waterwheel blocks all progress to the east,
and the boathouse is to the west.  The boathouse is built off of the grand
building so that the only exits from this courtyard are into the boathouse
and up the staircase. However, windows stare down at you from the second 
and top floors.  From behind the second floor window to the right of the 
staircase you can see movement.
