yeah, you were right necsi, they are friends. spartan managed to pull tarn off of an old char of mine when I had a c...not because I asked him to, but because spartan was a friend of mine. i valued that friendship until he tried to hit me up for gold/partying for exp everytime he created a new char. i dont like to be used.

So it's not like death was an inevitable consequence ones you're on FRA's hitlist.. you only need to survive the first few gangbangs and they'll end up with promises like 'We aren't done yet', but will leave you alone from this moment.
