Was a bit stupid of me, but not as stupid as it probably looked like. I was already in the rented room for some seconds, checking things until I found out that it was night (and I didn't know how late exactly). So (I thought that) if they had waited downstairs for the new day's arrival, they could have nailed me. I guessed that there was still enough time to leave the room quickly to visit the healer or bywater bar, but there wasn't.. so in the end it was Fairfax' doggedness that killed me, gotta give him probs for that.
